I Brake for MOM!

Hi everyone. With Mother's Day around the corner, I thought I should get on the ball and create a Mother's Day Card. The stamp sets that I used this week are called Half Sheet Planes and Letters and Daisy Background

Now I am a fly by the seat of my pants type of crafter and I never know where my card might take me. I started out by stamping the background with Versamark and using clear embossing powder.

I then colored up the background using two distress crayons, Wild Honey and Mustard Seed. I used a moist cloth to move the color around.

I then stamped the image onto my cardstock again using Jet Black Archival ink. Wow! what a pop!  I added some black soot distress crayons around the edges as well.

For my added finishes, I tied some bakers twine into a bow, added some Black Nuvo Drops and added my MOM word.

Sometimes it pays off to not have a plan!

Thanks for stopping by!
