Birthday Girl Quinn

Hi y'all! It's Holly posting tonight. Our family is gearing up for the big birthday bash where we celebrate two or three months of birthdays all at once, and this card is going to come in handy. I used this sweet Birthday Girl Quinn from the Sarah's Girls sheet at I Brake for Stamps to make this funky shaped card.

I colored the girl with Copic markers and paper pieced the balloon, and then I cut it out using the Out of the Box Nesties technique from Technique Junkies' Emboss or Die CD. For the card base itself, I went with a funky shape. I used a Grand Labels 4 Nestability to die cut the olive cardstock, and then I folded it in half to make the card base. Then I used the next smaller sized die and cut the designer paper and layered it onto the olive base. I added some strips to the left side and added the birthday girl to the center.

Have a wonderful evening!

Stamps: Birthday Girl Quinn from the Sarah's Girls sheet (I Brake for Stamps - use code SAVE10HOLLY to save 10% off your order)
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
CS: White, Olive, Razzleberry, Cottage Wall dp
Other: Copic markers, oval dies, dotted scallop edge punch, Grand Labels 4 dies

Such a Girl Thing!

Hi There, Regan here!! Today I have a fun layout to share with you using the Girl Thing stamp! I can't stop using the boy thing and girl thing stamps, I just love them if you couldn't tell! For this layout I used an 8 1/2 X 11 sketch from the May 2011 PageMaps and adjusted it to work for a 12 X 12 layout

I stamped the girl thing sentiment on a piece of patterned paper and then used a speech bubble Thicker from Tiara Accents as a frame. I think it turned out too cute!

For more photos and details, please visit my blog Emora Designs.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope that my layout inspired you to scrap today!

Dress Up Anna

Have you seen the new releases over at I Brake for Stamps? Della released THREE new sets of stamps - wow! I had the pleasure of working with the Sarah's Girls set, and this cutie is called Dress Up Anna.

I used the White on White technique from Technique Junkies - it just seemed like the perfect technique to go with the sweet strand of pearls that this little girl is "borrowing" from her mommy. Hee hee hee! Don't you remember trying on your mother's shoes and clomping around the house in them?

I colored Dress Up Anna with Copic markers, and then I added in the tiny pearls one at a time to match up with the stamped pearl necklace. I added larger pearls to each of the four corners of the card.

Go check out the new releases on I Brake for Stamps. I'm drooling over the other two sets, and I want them in my hot little hands now. :-) Happy Shopping!!

Stamps: Dress Up Anna from Sarah's Girls set (I Brake for Stamps)
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
CS: White
Other: Copic markers, pearls, oval dies, photo corner punch
TJ Technique: White on White

Boy Thing Mini Album

Hi all, Regan here! Today I have a fun project to share with you using the fabulous stamps from I Brake For Stamps! I used the Boy Thing and Numbers Background stamps to make this cute little sports mini album! It would be cute to use the Girl Thing Stamp to create the same project!

I used the Boy Thing stamp on the cover of the mini album as my title.

I used the Numbers Background stamp on the cream page below as well as on the back cover. It worked perfectly with the theme of this album.

I cut images from the collection to use as embellishments as well as some stickers.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. For more photos and details, please visit my blog Emora Designs.

Summer Song

Hello Ladies, Robyn here. I have a bright, summer-ish card to share with you today. It brings with it a wish for you to have a very sunshiny day today! :c)
Summer Song
I've used a S.W.A.L.K. image available through I Brake for Stamps called "You Are My Sunshine." I love these images! I'm hoping to collect the whole set of them eventually, as I really enjoy the cute stamps and great sentiments. You can view them all HERE. They just make me smile.

I've also used Wild Orchid Crafts Flower Blooms that I've layered together. The trim, paper (Poteeka Souffle by the Paper Studio), and Prima pearls are from a big box store. I colored in the image using my Letraset Promarkers and cut the layers out using my Nesties.

That's it for me today, I do have another card to share with you, but will save it for another day. Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Happy Creating,
Robyn x

Pool Bear

Happy Sunday, everyone! Are you ready for another cute bear card?

Isn't that cute??? Hehehehe! To start, I stamped this adorable Beach Bear image from I Brake for Stamps onto some Cryogen White cardstock from Paper Temptress. After I colored it with Copic markers, I used the Copic Texturizing technique from Technique Junkies and then I cut it out. I cut some of the leftover pieces of the same Cryogen White cardstock with a ric rac die and colored them with a red Copic marker. You can see how shimmery the bear and the red ric rac are in this picture below:

Isn't that neat? It looks like the bear has been in the water and the sun is reflecting off the water droplets. :-)

Here's hoping you have a wonderful week!

IBFS-"BIRD AND CHERRY BLOSSOM COLLAGE" - GAYLE PAGE-ROBAK

I have stamped this bird and cherry blossom collage image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on white cardstock. Coloring was completed with Copic markers and image was layered on a Cuttlebug dry embossed 'music' background, placed atop a music patterned collage sheet. I have created the flower from rubber stamped patterned and glittered SB papers. The gold glittered embellishment was created using Tim Holtz/Ranger grungeboard.

Princess for a Day

Well I watched a lot of the wedding.  Didn't stay up all night because I had to work the next day, but I did get up early at 5 AM and caught a lot of it.  And this card is in honor of the princess in all of us~!

I stamped my princess (I Brake For Stamps) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in with Copics. Her dress is all covered with sparkly glitter that only a princess would love. I added a pearl to her little crown.

You can see the whole gang of cute kids here. While you are there, check out the awesome Wild Orchid flowers and Bo Bunny papers that Della is carrying! I just got my order of the flowers this week and am excited to use them.

More details are on my blog here~!
Have a great day!

Happy May!!?? It's snowing here in Wisconsin so, I can only half heartedly offer that greeting ;) But, I do lovey these butterflies who make me feel all springy on the inside!
My card features a technique from the Technique Junkie Newsletter called Graduated Color (Feb 2011) AND this image. It's an image I use frequently because it is so versatile--have you used it for something fun? Head over to the Brakefast Club and share!

Clown Bear

Happy Monday, everyone! It is a cold, gray, drizzly day here, so how about a sweet little clown bear to put a smile on our faces? This adorable Clown Bear from I Brake for Stamps is colored with Copic markers, and then I added some fun little pom poms to his hat and his shirt. The little stars are actually Faux Chipboard - a fun technique from Technique Junkies. The last thing I did was go over the confetti with a yellow glitter pen - you can't really see the shimmer but it's there. :-)

Stamps: Clown Bear from I Brake for Stamps
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
CS: Kraft, Olive, White, Walk in the Park (Echo Park)
Other: buttons, linen thread, yellow glitter pen, pom poms
Technique: Faux Chipboard from Technique Junkies
