Fall Thank You Card

Greetings!  Today I am excited to share this stenciled fall greeting card I created with some of my favorite Blank Page Muse supplies! I love my distress Inks and own just about every color!  So I was super excited to see Blank Page Muse is now carrying the distress ink and some of the colors that I am missing!

To recreate this card your will need:

BPM Pumpkin Trio Stencil

BPM Fall Rubber Stamp Sheet Set by Pam Bray Designs

BPM  Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Rustic Wilderness, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire

Gold gems or brads, copper ink, black archival ink, watercolor paper, painter's tape

Start by trimming your watercolor paper 1/2 smaller than your card base. Secure your watercolor paper to your work space with painter's tape.

Position your BPM Pumpkin Trio Stencil onto your paper.

Using your Wild Honey Distress Ink, shade in your pumpkin.

Add dimension by layering on the Spiced Marmalade Distress ink.

After shading your leaves with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink, move stencil.

Shade the large pumpkin around the previous image with Crackling Campfire Distress ink so that it looks behind first pumpkin.

Shade the small pumpkin on top of first pumpkin as shown.

Reposition stencil and shade the final pumpkin as shown.

Stamp THANKS from BPM Fall Rubber Stamp Sheet Set by Pam Bray Designs

Ink edges of paper and adhere to your card base. Add gold gems to accent corners.

Fall is most definitely in the air where I live and I love it!!

Today I'm sharing HARVEST SHY BEAR. He can be found on his own or on full sheet MS49.

I Brake for Wheat!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing what I'll probably turn into a Thanksgiving card.

I used

I didn't finish off the inside yet because my mom's been in the hospital.  I may just use it to brighten her day if she doesn't come home since it's also just a nice fall card as it is.  She hasn't been outside in over a week and loves fall.

I love fall and you always see the pumpkins and scarecrows and wagons...I was drawn to this wheat spray bundle because it was unique.

I Brake for Thanksgiving Blessings

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  The I Brake for Stamps team wants to wish all our American readers a Happy Thanksgiving!

I wonder if your kitchen looks something like this today?  I love this image showcasing Autumn Bounty.  I added color with pencils, then matted it in black.  I found some neutral patterned paper to create a simple layout, then added a die cut sentiment in black.  I lost the little dot for the i, so I added that in the form of a Nuvo dot.

The I Brake for Stamps store is always open!  Have a most wonderful day!

I Brake for...Lady Fall

Fall is in the air here in Ohio! I can feel it and smell it! The chill is such a blessing after the hot humid summer we experienced. I love fall, it is my FAVORITE season, though I don't care for pumpkin spice. ;) I LOVE the cool fresh air, being bundled up, and watching children frolic in leaves!

This year the autumnal equinox falls on September 22nd. There is a LOT of time to place your order for fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving themed stamps at I Brake For Stamps. Della has an incredibly fast turn around as well as flat rate shipping. You'll have your fall cards ready before you know it!

While you are shopping, I urge you to look at this stamp set, Lady of Fall. This is a stunning, and HUGE stamp, and she has sisters! There is a lady for each of the seasons! Search "Lady of" and you'll see all 4 of these beautiful women! How lovely they'd all be colored and framed together! I absolutely plan to do this!

Like many of the cards I have made for I Brake For Stamps I painted this using Zig Clean Color Brushes. I feel like they just beg to be painted! I finished it off with a sentiment I had in my stash, which I embossed with gold embossing powder. I really didn't want the sentiment to take away from the image, Lady of Fall was so beautiful.

I have been working on quite a few fall and Halloween themed cards, I just can't wait to show you everything I have in store. You should go take a gander at all of the options, there are SO many to choose from at I Brake For Stamps, a simple search of "Fall" offers 5 pages of options!

I hope I have inspired you, I can't wait to see what you make with their options!

I Brake for Bistered Leaves!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a card that was inspired by Cheryl.  I kind of felt like I was being left in her Thanksgiving dust with all her amazing creations so I pulled out a stamp I hadn't used yet.

This is called Large Leaf.
The really fun part about this card is that I didn't color with my usual Copic markers.  I used BISTER powder stains to color the leaves.  I used Red and Natural for my leaves and then a little bit of yellow Copic marker just to add some highlights.  I know my fall leaves are never just one color.  I love how natural they turned out the color variations you get from the powders.

All I did was take some watercolor paper, stamp the leaf twice and cut them out.  Next I spritzed the paper with a little water and applied the powder.  You don't need very much powder at all for this.  I use my needle-nose tweezers to grab a little powder and I sprinkle it over the paper.  Then I spritz again.  Sometimes I just leave it as is.  This time I took a tissue and dabbed it around so that the entire leaf was stained and then just added a couple tiny little sprinkles of powder to make some darker spots.  Super easy and so pretty!

I used EVERY DAY PHRASES  for the Happy Thanksgiving verse.

I Brake for Fall/Thanksgiving & Silverware holders.

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday to all!
Today I am sharing the Silverware Holders I created using I Brake for Stamps Sentiment from the Fall Half Sheet Collection. I wanted something a little different than most do. So I used those treat bags, cut them in half, and then decorated with ribbons, burlap, twine, and the beautiful sentiment from I Brake For Stamps. Around the sentiment I stamped the leaves from the same Fall Half Sheet, and stamped in different colors. Love the look!

My entire table setting can be found on my blog. I really enjoyed making all these super fun goodies for Thanksgiving! I do have 5 more to finish up, so I need to get busy :)

Thank you for looking and enjoy your day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

I Brake for Thanksgiving & Treats!

Hello everyone, and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today I'm sharing a super fun treat wrapper I created using I Brake for Stamps Fall Half Sheet. I absolutely love all the beautiful stamps on this sheet! These little treats are going to be part of my table setting for Thanksgiving this year. Each one I will try to do a little different . This is my 1st year going all out and doing a super fun table setting. I will be sharing more with you all over the next week! :) Hope you enjoy my post for today!

So for my candy bar wrapper, I used some design paper to cover my candy bar, then I stamped up the pumpkin from the Fall Half Sheet, and colored with copics ,  next I cut it out! For the Happy Thanksgiving I stamped it in memento black ink, and then cut out using oval dies. These little treats are super fun and easy to make! Leaves and little balls are from Hobby Lobby. Branches are cut using Martha stewart punch.

I Brake for Stamps Fall Half Sheet can be found Here!

Deal of the week is a wonderful way to add to your collection. For all stamps on SALE this week , please visit the I Brake For Stamps shop here!

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

I Brake for Jumbo Acorns!

Hello and happy Saturday!
Welcome to my I Brake For Stamps post.

It's Fall y'all!  Today I'm actually out touring the wineries of Cayuga Lake in upstate N.Y. with some friends from Canada.  They've never been to a winery so we figured what better to do on a beautiful day like this!

On that note...I have a Fall themed card to share with you!
The second I saw this stamp I fell in love with it. (and wondered how I didn't notice it sooner)  The image is called JUMBO ACORNS.

On the inside I used a sentiment from the collection of verses called EVERY DAY PHRASES.

Here's a close up of the image.  I tried to color the leaves in a variety of fall colors like I'd see in my yard.

I Brake For Elegant Pumpkins!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today, because Thanksgiving is just around the corner I decided to make a card with this  BEAUTIFUL image from I Brake For Stamps.  The stamp is called ELEGANT PUMPKIN. (and I completely agree)  I always host Thanksgiving for my family but I still usually give my mom a card.  I just know she'll love this!

Here's a close up.  The verse is from the sheet EVERY DAY PHRASES.
If you've followed my IBFS posts at all you'll see that this sheet is my "go to" for almost every card I make.  I believe I counted once and there are 39 different sayings on it.  It has the perfect sentiment for almost every card and occasion!
