Be My Valentine!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing another Valentine's Day card that I made using a fabulous new sheet from I Brake for Stamps.  The set is called VALENTINE SHEET - DESIGNS.

I layered a verse from the set that I cut with my Stitched Rectangles die on top of the rectangle on the main image.

On the inside I used one of the other images from the set.

I Brake for Valentines!

I colored the image with my Marvy markers in 4 different shades and then stamped it on the white cardstock.  I then colored in the two hearts with two different shades of Copic markers and highlighted with a little bit of Stickles.

I used another image on the inside.  (the Love you is from somewhere else)

I Brake for Love and Chocolate!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Since Christmas is over I'm on to the next holiday...Valentine's Day.
I made a fun card with a couple of verses from I Brake for Stamps.
I used LOVE CHOCOLATE and the Valentine's verse from EVERY DAY PHRASES.

I bought the EVERY DAY PHRASES set a couple of years ago and it was such a wonderful investment!  I use this on at least 50% off my cards.  It has so many verses and is perfect for nearly every occasion.

Have you seen the new rubber over in the I Brake for Stamps store? This Basket of Heart Scones is one of the newest ones, just in time for Valentine's Day. I had so much fun coloring this one with Copic markers in pastel tones.

I used the Wisped Frames technique (from Technique Junkies) for a soft pinkish hue on the image after I colored it. The sentiment comes from the MS102 Full Plate - a wonderful source of sentiments for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, weddings, and general love cards.

Valentine's Day will be here in less than a month. There are a lot of great stamps for Valentine's Day in the New Items section of the I Brake for Stamps store. Have fun shopping!
