Snowman Tuesday!

One final Snowman Tuesday card ... or actually SET of cards!    I've used the Snowball Set of 4 images for these super fun and easy cards.

Each was heat embossed with black EP and I then carefully added some color with Copics and sparkle with Stickles.  I've used the Basic Grey Jovial DP for each of these and vellum for the Spellbinders Beaded Circles.

Here are some closeup views . . .

I wanted to say a HUGE Thank you to Della for everything she has done during the past year!   This will be my last post for I Brake For Stamps.   Unfortunately, due to my schedule overload, I've had to cut a few DT positions.   It's been a true pleasure to work with you all.   I'll be back to visit often!

Come, They Told Him....

{Jane Bosi} How sweet is this little Drummer Boy #2, I ask you? I love the story of the drummer boy--it's always been one of my favorite Christmas shows--and one of the few Christmas songs I never get sick of hearing!
I'm using a sketch from the Cardabilities Sketch Challenge this week and, also a technqiue called Pencils Over Markers--such a great way to enhance coloring!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful beginning to your season of giving!

Sharing some Holiday fun with Sarah and Grace

Hello Friends-  This is Chris Dickinson from the COLD state of Wisconsin! I am so blessed to have daughters who LOVE to stamp with me...

This first card was made by my 6 year old daughter. This Hair Dryer Trio stamp makes me smile, and would make a perfect card for a friend! Sarah stamped this, and then with my supervision I allowed her to use my Copic Markers. When she was done coloring, she went over the image with a 2 way glue pen and showered my office and her card with glitter.

The second card I am sharing is one my talented 9 year old daughter created. She too loves to stamp with me and gets quite crafty. She used one of my favorite sets...the Fall and Winter Collage set. Grace colored the image with water based markers, and used the two way glue pen and glitter as well. She topped her project with some pretty pink organdy ribbon.

The next two projects I am sharing with you were created by me...

I used the I Brake For Stamps Christmas Collage stamp set. I stamped it with Brown Staz and painted it with Creative Inspirations - wheat, Rustic Red, Burgundy, Chocolate, Evergreen using an Aqua painter. I used the Nestibilities die to cut out the image and a  1/2 inch Circle Punch to cut out the letters. Once the letters were attached, I put a thin layer of Crystal Effects/ Glassy Glaze over it and allowed it to dry.

On my final project, I used my Copic markers and had so much fun coloring this!

I used the stamp set, I Brake For Stamps Autumn Bounty and thought of a "country blue" scene. To create the border above I used the Viva Pearl Gold Paint and allowed it to dry for about 30 minutes.

I hope you enjoyed each of these creations and that they inspired you! Have fun stamping and enjoy your day!

Walnut Ink Resist Joyeux Noel Collage

It's Holly again with a flat Christmas card for y'all. I used the Walnut Ink Resist technique from Technique Junkies but morphed it by using Glimmer Mist instead. The collage image is from I Brake for Stamps' new Christmas Collage sheet. The little red strips in the background are also sprayed with the same Glimmer Mist for a coordinated look. This is another card for my "mail-able" Christmas cards box so I will only need one PO stamp to send this card out. :-)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Here's a card to wish you all a wonderful thanksgiving. I love this stamp with a pair of indian children and think it could be used for lots of non-thanksgiving cards as well! Be sure to go to the I Brake for Stamps retail site to see the original stamp image, click here.
Project Materials: Cardstock (California Paper goods, AC Metallic, Neenah); Stamp (I Brake for Stamps); Corn (Jolee's); Buttons (American Traditional); Fabric Sticker (Heidi Grace); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Die Cut (Spellbinders-Nestabilities); Color (Copic Markers); Adhesives(Pop dots, Glue All, Glue Dots);

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday!

Christmasy Collage

{Jane Bosi} Greetings!!! I thought a gift set using the fab Christmas Collage set was in order! The more I work with these images, the more I just love them!! I've included a few "closer up" pictures--I apologize for the flash glare. To say I've been technologically challenged lately would be an understatement!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my little creations! They all feature the Burnished Background technique. If you are a Technique Junkie, you'll find that one in the October 2009 edition!
On the Joyeaux Noel card, I've also used the O Little Town Text--which I totally love and makes me want to break out in song....anyone care to join me?

So Thankful

Hello Everyone,

Here is my final Autumn card for the season, and it's hopefully nearing it's destination as I type. I kept it pretty flat so it would mail easily. Of course, it's using my favorite Fall-Half Sheet once again. Such a great as well as versatile stamp set from I Brake for Stamps.

Torn Frames Peace Bird Bag

Holly here again with a Christmas gift bag for you. I stamped the bag with Holly's Tattered Background (my favorite background!) from I Brake for Stamps and set that aside. A green paper from Basic Grey's Wassail paper collection was stamped with the "peace bird" image from the Christmas Collage sheet. The collage image was too large for the bag, so I cut the sentiment off and trimmed down the bird image just a tiny bit. I distressed the edges, and then adhered them to some Torn Frames layers. Then I adhered the sentiment below the bird.

To finish off this bag, I punched a couple of holly leaves from a darker green paper (Basic Grey Wassail collection) and added some red buttons for the "berries." Won't this be a fun gift bag to give to someone for Christmas this year?

'Happy Thanksgiving'

This image came from the Fall Half Sheet from I Brake for Stamps. I've so enjoyed using it this Autumn! I've put a lot of "miles" on it. :c) I've used my Bow Easy to tie the double bow using this linen thread - LOVE that tool!

Pyrus Pieced Pumpkins

Just a quick post as it is way past my bedtime. I paper pieced these adorable pumpkins (Pumpkin Harvest) from I Brake for Stamps, with some papers from Basic Grey's Pyrus collection. The papers just scream "fall" to me, and they work beautifully with these pumpkins. The sentiment is from the Every Day Phrases sheet at I Brake for Stamps. I colored in the leaves and stems with some Copic markers, and I added a bit of shading all around the image.

Oh Bountiful Season

This not-so-scary scarecrow is just too cute for words. I really love his happy little face. :c) This stamp is from one of my favorite I Brake for Stamps sheets: Fall-Half Sheet. So versatile and such great images! This little guy is just a lot of fun to paper piece together.

Little Flower Girl

Here's some great stamps from I Brake for Stamps. This adorable girl is the Little Flower Girl. On the background I used the small star ornament and the large star ornament in colorbox chalk ink. Project Materials: Cardstock (Bazzill, DCWV, Neenah); Rubber Stamps (I Brake for Stamps); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Die Cut (Spellbinders-Nestabilities); Color (Copic Markers); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All);

Christmas Ornament Using "Key to My Heart" Stamp

Hello All!
True :D here.
My family has had a tradition of collecting dated ornaments for each year.  I started collecting 29 years ago with one that said "Our First Christmas Together 1981". When my son was born in "85", I started buying two. One for our tree and one to give him when he grew up. We put a lot of thought into it and try to find ornaments that have something to do with an event from that year.
I made this Christmas ornament for my son Kurt and future daughter-in-law Kristin. It is dated on the back with a special sentiment).
I know, I know.... the stamp is not meant to be a Christmas image but since they are in love (heart) and they have a new home (key) I thought it works great

The image is from I Brake For Stamps and is called "Key To My Heart" and it's only $2.85!!!!
It is going to be a great image for Valentine's Day too!

If you would like all of the details and the recipe, please come visit MY BLOG.  :)
I hope you like my creation. I would love to hear what is your favorite detail on it!
Thanks and hugs,

Peace Collage Christmas Card

Definitely a new favorite :)

Prince Poppycock

It's Holly posting today, and I'm showing off this new clown that Della just added to her store this week. I used the Bingo Blast technique from Technique Junkies on the background, and I colored the harlequin clown with Copic markers. I didn't want to add a lot of extra stuff because I really wanted the clown to take center stage here.

You can order these clowns from I Brake for Stamps by clicking on THIS link. Happy shopping! :-)
