I Brake for Christmas Tree ..

Hello IBFS fans !!!
It's Crystal here , I hope everyone has enjoyed the Holidays, we have had great family time here and I love it . Today's card I am using Kids Gathering Tree and I made it into a slider card .

file-dec-29-10-11-02-am

I copic colored the image and then cut it out using my Brother ScanNcut machine ( don't ever need dies again to cut out stamps ) , I then made the front panel using a village edge die from Gina Marie Designs and the slide slot die from MFT

file-dec-29-10-12-11-am

I then attached the image with foam dots and pennies to make it weighted to slide , it's a long image so I used two ..( some will get my two cents and not know it, I'm being silly ..lol  )

file-dec-29-10-11-27-am

I Brake for Curious Cats!

Curious Cat is from I Brake for Stamps' collection of digital stampsCurious Cat was resized in PhotoElements, printed out onto Copic-friendly cardstock with my laser printer, and colored with my Copic markers. Several layers of Clear Gelly Roll Glaze pen (Sakura) were added to the glass to add dimension and shine.

Orange patterned paper was die-cut with a frame and a label die, then edged with Spiced Marmalade and Rusty Hinge Distress inks.

Patterned papers were layered and edged with the same Distress inks as above. Old  alphabet rub-ons were used to add the sentiment.

For what it's worth, Curious Cat is a very realistic stamp. Each of our cats has stuck his/her head into a glass, container, or bowl (usually in search of food molecules) and gotten stuck, which never fails to amuse us.

I  Brake for Stamps has a great collection of digital stamps plus a huge and varied collection of rubber stamps that you ought to check out right now. Click on my badge below to be whisked over to I Brake for Stamps to check out all of the goodies!

I Brake For Coffee Beans

Hi, it's Jamie Martin with you today, from freezing Oklahoma and boy can I use a hot cup of coffee to warm up! So the card I'm sharing today is of friendship and warmth.  The stamps are from a full sheet of Coffee, Coffee Beans and Sayings. here is how it was made;

1.  Stamp the roasted coffee beans bag on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine ink and emboss with clear.
2.  Color with Zig Clean Color pens and use a die to cut out and a larger die to cut a larger blue frame.  Sponge the edge of the watercolor piece with brown ink and the blue frame with dark blue ink.  Glue together and set aside.
3.  Randomly stamp coffee beans on decorative paper with brown ink, wrap with ribbon and glue onto a blue card.
4.  Stamp sentiment on blue paper with brown ink and pop up on card after the coffee bag piece has been glued down.

Stay warm and I hope I have inspired you to Stamp This!

I Brake ( Wait ) for Santa !!!

Hello IBFS fans !!

It's Crystal here and I am back with a Christmas card using the Waiting for Santa Shy Bear

screen-shot-2016-12-14-at-10-03-17-pm
file-dec-14-8-39-22-pm

To create my card I stamped my image with TH black soot ink and then added clear embossing powder and heat embossed , this makes my image super black and adds shine  , I copic colored the image and because I used clear embossing powder it does not harm my copics , I cut my image down and added a red layer that I wanted to create a santa look and made a black belt and a silver glitter buckle , ( two squares stacked ) , I then layered this in a stripe layer and then attached all to a green card base , I added some sequins and a no peeking die cut sentiment from red foil cardstock .You can make these pretty quick .

I Brake For Love....

{jane bosi}  Happy Monday, Brakers!  Most of us are entrenched in holiday planning, gifting and card making all focused on wintery themes, candy canes and candles.  BUT, right around the corner, more opportunities for card making await!

I love this little monster by Carmen Medlin in the Loves Me Set.  Whose heart wouldn't just melt for this little guy?

My card is a simple little water coloring.  Sometimes, simple really is best!

Have a great day!  TTFN, Jane

I Brake For Smiles

Hi, this is Jamie Martin with you again and winter's just beginning but I'm ready for Spring!  So today I'm sharing a Spring inspired card.  I really like this saying, Sending Smiles, from I Brake For Stamps, it's pretty versatile.  I paired it with the Large Fritillaria stamp which is one flower that I stamped multiple times with VersaMark ink and embossed with clear powder.  Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks were sponged over the flowers, then the embossed area was rubbed with a paper towel to remove the ink.  Some diluted Abandoned Coral was splattered over the card the Sending Smiles was stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink. A gold gem was placed in the center of one of the flowers and gold stickers were placed randomly around the sentiment.  The panel was then glued to an orange card.

I hope I have inspired you to Stamp This!

A Hug for Rudolph Candy Tag

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all! Cheryl here with a Candy Tag I made using I Brake For stamps darling " A Hug For Rudolph" Stamp. Love this stamp, its so sweet!!!
My image was stamped up in black ink, and then cut out using the oval shape die. Next I airbrushed the background using copic marker. For Rudolph and the sweet little girl I colored them with copics and then used some stickles to give some glitz. I also added stickles to the snowflakes, as you can see they haven't dried yet :) hehehehe

My tag was created using several dies, and then added candy to the inside pocket. I made a bunch of candy tags to bring with me to our Christmas Doll club party that is tomorrow :) They are a little different .

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!
hugs to all,
Cheryl
