I Brake for Beautiful Deer!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite I Brake For Stamps Christmas images with you.

This stamp is called Christmas Deer.
The JOY verse is from EVERY DAY PHRASES.

I always try to make a few masculine Christmas cards since my husband works with mostly men and always needs a few cards.  We also come from a small farm community FULL of hunters so I know a lot of them would appreciate this card.

I Brake for Snow Friends !!

Hello I Brake for Stamps Fans !!

Hello it's Crystal here . Happy Thanksgiving !! Today we are going to keep this card very simple so it can be a mass-produced Christmas card , let's face it we all love the over the top cards but the closer it gets to the holiday we never get it all done as we plan ..life happens , so don't feel guilty it happens to us all , today's card is going to help us get back on track  , we can still make our own Christmas cards with the sparkle and the are not bulky to mail .Today I am using the Frosty and friends and we are going to heat emboss him with white embossing powder on kraft card stock , when we add a silver glitter CS layer under the image it really make him pop , I added some faux stitched lines in the shimmer gel pen and added some stickles around the image for sparkle snow, add a greeting ,super easy and super cute , I hope you give this a try and Happy Holidays from my family to yours .

Here is a second picture with the card closed ...well that is it for me today will see you next Tuesday with something new.

I Brake For Snowy Villages

{jane bosi}

Happy Monday!!  I DO brake for snowy villages!!  The picture below is a just a snap shot of the view out my Studio window!  Yesterday, it was 40+ degrees and rainy.....crazy Wisconsin weather!!

The card, I'm sharing today, was inspired by this craziness!  I began by creating a background using the Splattered Ombre Watercolors Tutorial from Technique Junkie Newsletter. It's a fun little technique that looks very snowy to me!

I used the largest building from IBFS's Cats and Buildings stamp sheet.  After stamping the building on white cardstock, I colored it with a grey Copic marker--adding just a bit of yellow in a few of the window areas.  I stamped a second image and selected one building to highlight.....I imagine that would be my friend's house...I popped it up on dimensional tape to give the finished card a bit more interest!

My sentiment is also from IBFS, but I will save you the time of trying to seek it out on your own.  I used a sentiment from the Rick St. Dennis Holiday Bear Sheet.  It comes with a sentiment that says "Have a Beary Merry Christmas."  When inking it, I covered the "Have a Beary" portion before applying it to the ink pad.  I was able to omit that part and end up with the perfect sentiment!

Of course, if that is a bit too putzy for you, I'm sure you will find something perfect RIGHT HERE!

Thanks for stopping by!  TTFN, Jane

I Brake for Cardinals that "shake" it!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a shaker card with you.  My card features CARDINAL from I BRAKE FOR STAMPS.

I have a quick little "how to" for my card.  These are so easy to make.

First I took a piece of acetate (it's packaging from a metal die that I saved) and glued and taped it to the back of my open frame.  Next I added the dimensional foam that will pop up the panel and allow the confetti to shake around.

This is the window from the front.

Next I put the confetti in the middle of the image and position the frame over it and press down to seal it.

Here it is all spread out.

Here is the confetti all settled at the bottom.

People really enjoy the interactive cards and this is such a fun one to give!

Good Tuesday Morning peeps, Beth here with another Christmas card using IBFS Santa Face Shy Bear...I just love Shy Bear isn't he adorable....every time I see an image of Shy Bear it makes me think of Wilson on the Tool Man....any how here is my card.

Nothing fancy this week just a plain and simple card although I did bling up Shy Bear just a tab...as you can see on his hat and pom-pom had to give him a little Stickles....the rest of the image was colored with Spectrum's....image cut using a Spellbinders die than embossed on bottom with Cuttlebugs Swiss Dot as is the white layer of main card also used snowflake border embossing folder down the side.

Hope this little fellow will put you in the mood to get your Christmas cards ready have a head start going on mine.

I Brake For Cowboys and Christmas!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing another Christmas card with you.
This one features the image COWBOY CHRISTMAS.

This is a great image if you're looking for a quick card.  As detailed as this stamp is the majority of it is to be left white since it's snow covered.  There isn't a whole lot to be colored so you could knock out a bunch of them quickly.

I love those mountains in the background.

I Brake For Turkey's

Good morning Peeps, Beth here with my card finally.....didn't think I would ever get one done....Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner I used the entire Thanksgiving Collage Quarter Sheet  from IBFS on my card, really love the verse that goes along with this set.
As you can see I went really rustic with my card I water colored my background on the collage stamp and then sprayed it with some glimmer mist...wasn't happy with the dullness of the turkey and leaf so stamped them again and used my Copics to color both and cut them out and adhered to the card....my papers are I'd Rather Be Hunting from Hobby Lobby.

now for the inside stamped the verse with black ink and then punched some little leaves to scatter down the side.

Well thats it for me this week hope you have enjoyed my card ... see you next Tuesday.
Hugs
Beth

I Brake For Cat Carols!

{jane bosi}

Adore!  I'll admit it....I'm not a huge cat fan.....kittens, sure......all babies are cute, but cats?  I've encountered enough passive aggressive cat behavior to have formed a bit of dislike....HOWEVER, this cat image from the Cats and Buildings sheet is beyond cute!!!  I just adore it!

Doesn't it look like they are singing?  Caroling cats!  What else could make your Catmas merry?  LOL!!

I dug out and old time favorite technique from Technique Junkie Newsletter called, Cuttlebug Highlights, for the background.  Using some old snap stamps, I created my one of a kind sentiment.

Fa la la la la....

:)  Jane

I Brake For Elegant Pumpkins!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today, because Thanksgiving is just around the corner I decided to make a card with this  BEAUTIFUL image from I Brake For Stamps.  The stamp is called ELEGANT PUMPKIN. (and I completely agree)  I always host Thanksgiving for my family but I still usually give my mom a card.  I just know she'll love this!

Here's a close up.  The verse is from the sheet EVERY DAY PHRASES.
If you've followed my IBFS posts at all you'll see that this sheet is my "go to" for almost every card I make.  I believe I counted once and there are 39 different sayings on it.  It has the perfect sentiment for almost every card and occasion!
