Cards for Baby and a Layout

Hello Everyone, Robyn here. I have quite a few projects to share with you today. I thought it would be fun to create several cards using a single stamp set to share with you today. I'm using the Baby Plate #3 from I Brake for Stamps. The images are so cute! I decided to make a couple of boy cards, a couple of girl cards and a sweet little layout of my daughter, Suzanne. I wanted to show you a little of the versatility of just one stamp set. I could have made more, but have other projects calling my name so this is it for now. Hope you like them. *Ü*

The layout measures 8" x 8" and I've used the little box frame to frame the photo - I know, how original! teehee

8x8 baby layout

Super simple layout, but isn't she a cutie-pie!?!

8x8 layout

Now for the cards...

They are basically the same per set, just adapted for baby boy/girl.

Baby Girl Card

Baby Boy Card

Had to do some paper piecing...I love that technique. Makes for a super simple, yet sweet card.

baby girl with pram card

This is what the inside looks like. The baby boy card (below) has the same stamping inside but with baby blue ink.

Then lastly, the baby boy version...

baby boy teddy bear card

They're all pretty basic cards, so apart from the fussy cutting, they could easily be mass produced and even turned into birth announcements.

This is what the set looks like:

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

IBFS - BELOVED COLLAGE IMAGE - GAYLE PAGE-ROBAK

This beautiful IBFS-BELOVED collage image has been stamped on ecru toned gently patterned cardstock and softly colored with Prismacolor Artist Pencils and chalk. Background has been created on chipboard covered with a sheet of music framed with a pale golden yellow decorative-edged ribbon over-layed with a narrow eggshell ribbon. I framed the art piece with 1" gathered ecru lace. I have created a handmade paper flower with a button and pearl center. The small 5-petal flowers are from Martha Stewart and I have added wee button centers.

Happy Birthday!

Hi all, Regan here! I am super excited to share my card with you this week. I am not a fabulous card maker, layouts and mini albums are my thing, but I am proud of this one!

So here we go!

I used the Numbers Background Stamp on the card base and the Be My Valentine Girl stamp as my main image. I did some paper piecing on her dress and bow to add some interest.

She Did It Again!

{Jane Bosi} Sweet Ms. Della added some new and cuter than life images for us again!!! This is one of the new bears by Rick St. Dennis--so adorable!! Make sure to check out all of the new additions here. My image is colored with copic markers and brought to life with some awesome Cosmo Cricket paper. I've also used the Out of the Nestie Box technique from the TJNL Emboss or Die CD. Lots of fun, my friends! TTFN, Jane

Tag

Hi there-

its Kristy here! I completed a tag today for a challenge and thought

I would share it with you! It uses several images :

An Image (little girl) from the Photo Booth Sheet

Speckle background from Grunge Backgrounds #2

"Ephemera" text from the Wendy's Faves sheet

and the torn paper image from the Surprise Sheet

Happy!

Today I have a card to share with you using the Clown Bear stamp, an adorable image by Rick St. Dennis! This stamp is one of the new releases!
I had such a fun time creating this card!

I think it would be adorable to add little pom poms on his outfit but I couldn't find where I had mine! This move still has me digging! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Music Collage

Here is a beautiful vintage music set from I Brake For Stamps called Music Collage Quarter Sheet. I stamped my images with Soft Suede Classic Dye Ink (Stampin' Up!) and also used it to sponge around the edges.  The music is from an old hymnal that I have for card-making.  I never have to sponge the edges -- it is that old!

The pearls are a lovely pale blue (Mark Richards) that offsets the paper beautifully. A little lace and some pretty roses (Prima) add a nice vintage touch.  What do you think?

The Best and Most Beautiful things......

Hi, Regan here! Today I have a simple card to share with you for I Brake For Stamps. I used the stamp Helen Keller. I loved this quote so much that I decided it needed to stand on it's own.

In case you can't read what it says...
"The best and most beautiful things in life Can not be seen or even touched. They must be "felt" with the heart." ~ Helen Keller

This stamp would be perfect with images of butterflies, Baptisms, and special moments like becoming a mother!

Thank you for stopping by!

Spring Bonnet Collage Tag

This is a fun little collage tag that I created a few weeks ago. I sponged some purple ink all over this Spring Bonnet Collage from I Brake for Stamps, added some orange to the butterfly, and then used a white gel pen to color in the pretty flowers before distresing the edges. I used the Torn Frames technique from Technique Junkies on the dark purple layer behind the collage image.

I sponged some of the same purple ink onto a white tag, distressed the edges, and then I saw this pretty white lace sitting on my table. I just had to see how it would look with a purple tag, so I cut small strips and adhered them to the bottom of the tag. Then I used a larger piece and looped it through the hole at the top of the tag. To keep the collage image from being too rustic, I added a little paper doily behind the image. Some purple buttons along the bottom finish off this sweet little tag.

There's so many different things you can do with the gorgeous collage images from I Brake for Stamps. You don't have to color everything - you can take a shortcut and sponge some color on and just highlight one or two items within a collage. I hope you are inspired to get inky today!

Belle Jardin

This is one of the gorgeous new collage images that was just released over at I Brake for Stamps. I colored this Belle Jardin Rose Collage with Copic markers, and then I used the Glimmer Lace technique in the background to echo the lacy hanky that you see in the upper left corner of the collage.

I also used a glitter pen on the "Belle Jardin" letters:

I wanted that little bit of sparkle to make the letters stand out from the background and the leaves. Go check out the new collage stamps in the IBFS store. They are all so gorgeous!

Stamps: Belle Jardin Rose Collage from I Brake for Stamps
CS: white, black
Other: Copic markers, black lace (May Arts), glitter pen, Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist

Joys Come From Simple and Natural Things

My card today is such a serene scene.  It is a 4" x 4" stamp from I Brake For Stamps called Joy Comes From. I added some sparkle with my Spica Glitter pens to the sky and the water. I had to change the lighting a little so you could see it. Click on the photo below for a close-up!
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with various Copic markers.  I kind of wanted a watercolor look, so I let the coloring bleed into other colors.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Tattered Cameo

I started out by painting the chipboard pieces with some paint. While they were drying, I used Holly's Tattered Background stamp from I Brake for Stamps to do the Worn Wallpaper technique (from Technique Junkies). It's hard to see it on some of the papers, but I did stamp all of them.

The white silhouette piece was a bit too white for my liking, so I lightly sponged on some Antique Linen distress ink. The brown paint on the second chipboard piece wasn't dark enough, so I smeared some Walnut Stain distress ink on the edges and smooshed it around with my finger (which is a lovely shade of dark brown right now LOL). The two pieces put together resemble a gorgeous old-fashioned cameo.

I used the sketch from the Sweet Stop Sketch blog (SSS99) to put this card together. The peach toned flowers were a lucky find in my Prima stash so I added those along with some wrinkled ribbon.

Stamps: Holly's Tattered Background stamp
Ink: Fresh Snow, Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
CS: dark brown from stash, Curio pp (Basic Grey)
Other: wrinkled ribbon (May Arts), flowers (Prima), buttons, sponge, chipboard (Maya Road), Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paints (white, brown), Scallop Diamond edge punch (EK Success)
TJ Technique: Worn Wallpaper

Movie Maven Maude

Hi y'all! It's Holly posting today. Here's another one of my favorite Humorous Seniors from I Brake for Stamps - Movie Maven Maude! She's ready for the newest flick, all settled into her comfy chair with her hot buttered popcorn.

I paper pieced the chair and the cushion on the footstool with the same paper that you see in the background of the card. I love her big hairdo, so I gave her some blue tints in her gray hair. But she's not a boring ol' senior, now... she's gotta have her hot pink eyeglasses! None of those basic black or gold frames for Miss Maude, no siree. Hee hee hee!

Head on over to I Brake for Stamps to do some shopping. There are some gorgeous new collage stamps that just arrived in the store yesterday, and you can get the awesome Creative Inspirations Paints as well as gorgeous Prima flowers.
