I Brake For Money!!

Hello everyone!  Renee here.

Today I'm sharing a birthday card that I made for one of my son's friends.  After all...who doesn't love cash?

This image is called JACKPOT GEORGE and it's from I Brake For Stamps.
The verse on the front and on the inside are both from a Full Sheet called EVERY DAY PHRASES.

Here's a close up of George.  He's colored with Copic markers.

And on the inside...Joe's cash and birthday wish.

I Brake For.......Wanna Kiss Fish.....

{Jane Bosi} Happy Friday!  Wanna Kiss Fish is the awesome image in today's project!! I think this is such a fun image that can be colored in a variety of ways. I've chosen a purple/teal combination to compliment my Alcohol Ink Foil background. I still need the perfect sentiment......what would you use? TTFN--Jane

I Brake For Mallard Ducks!

Hello everyone!
Today I'm sharing two similar cards.  One is a thank you card for the woman who rents us her cottage every summer and one is a masculine birthday card.

First I'll share the birthday card.
I used the beautiful MALLARDS image from I Brake For Stamps.
The verse is from their full sheet EVERY DAY PHRASES.

The frame and verse piece were cut with Spellbinders dies and the border is a Martha Stewart punch.  I used Copic markers to color the image in.

Here's the thank you card.  I kept this one very simple so that I could mail it directly from my house and not have to go to the post office.  Also, this woman has framed my cards in the past and had to cut them to make them fit in a frame...this way it's sized for a 4x6 frame and it's nice and flat.

I Brake For Fall

{Jane Bosi}

It's my favorite time of the year!!!  I have a uniquely colored project to share today featuring this beautiful Framed Leaf Foliage image.  I applied four colors of distress ink to my nonstick teflon sheet, creating a customized ink pad.  After misting the inks with some water, I inked up my image and stamped.  I was left with a splotchy multi colored image.  I cleaned my stamp and reinked with black and over stamped to give my splotches definition.  I like it.  It feels all arty and such to me!

Have a great day--TTFN, Jane

Celestial Fairy

Hi everyone, Marlena here today with a card to share with you using the I Brake for Stamps Celestial Fairy image.  I decided to color this image using pinks and it turned out to be a nice color choice.  I usually think of dark blues and yellows when I think of the sky and celestial images, but not this time around.  I guess you could say I was thinking pink.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Tuesday.  We are having some beautiful crisp, fall weather here, I love it, so I am hopefully going to enjoy mine.
Thanks so much for dropping by,

I Brake For Yes, Girl!!

{Jane Bosi}
Happy Friday!!!  I have a cute little Sarah Girl project to share!  I created my graffiti looking background with this fun image from IBFS.  The technique I used is called Background Blocking.  It's super easy and a new twist on background images!  You'll find Sarah's Girls on the IBFS website in rubber or DIGI version as well!

Cammy Girl

Hi everyone, Marlena here today with another Cammy image to share with all of you.  I think going back to school has put me in the mood for these cute, adorable images.  Especially since I work with cute, adorable kindergartners.  Today I am using the image, Cammy Girl.  I decided to make an easel card using this image.  I think easel cards are just beautiful and make the card a gift and a work of art all on its own.

This image really is just the sweetest, don't you think?  I hope you have a fabulous rest of the day!
Thanks so much for stopping by,

I Brake For Doctors and Nurses!

Hello everyone!
Recently my daughter's dance teacher had an illness and we wanted to cheer her up.  I've made her many cards through the years but they've always been dance themed so it was fun to do something a little different for her.

Stamps used...

I apologize for the crooked verse.  I had already glued the paper down so I was kind of out of luck without redoing the entire front.  Oh well.  It gives it that "personal, homemade" touch right??

Love these funny caregivers!!

Loveable Avi

Hi everyone, Marlena here today to share with you a card using the Chelsea Le Designs image, Lovable Avi.  I colored using my copic markers and used fall inspired colors.  I have just gone back to work today after a nice long summer vacation and returning to school always means the return to fall for me, thus the fall inspired colors.  Now that fall is here in my mind you are most likely to see more of these wonderful color combinations until then it is time to turn our sights onto winter.  But, I move too far ahead, here's my card using this adorable image.

Enjoy the rest of your day!  No fall weather here at the moment but it's bound to show up sometime, isn't it!?
Thanks so much for stopping by,

Feeling a little devilish!

Hi all, Kristen here to share a card I made this weekend using Rick St. Dennis's Denise Devilin image.  While you may think this is only a Halloween image, I think It could be used as a Male Birthday card for a young guy...."Hope your Birthday is Hot"!! Is it too cheesy??? Anyway, I wanted to share with you, and I hope you are enjoying your Holiday weekend. Happy Creating!
