Stamped Vellum Birthday Card

 Greetings!

Chris here! Today I am excited to share to elegant Happy Birthday Card.
In my family, January and February are loaded with feminine birthdays!
What a better way to beat the winter blues than with a bouquet of flowers!
Even Stamped ones!

 This card uses:

Start by stamping your image on Vellum.  Let the ink dry then flip your vellum to the back side and color your image. (I used alcohol markers)

As you can see it creates a subtle colored image!

Layer you image onto your Blank Page Muse Sweet Passion 6x6 inch sheets Paper Pack designed by Pam Bray .  Hint I only used adhesive in the corners and then added Pearl gems to hide the adhesive.

I hope you are inspired to get creative with your stamps and papers from Blank Page Muse and I Brake For Stamps.  Don't forget to use my discount code BPMChris.

Watercolored Card

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog! I am glad you are here. Today's card technique is about watercoloring. Do you like to watercolor? I watercolor occasionally depending on my crafting mood and depending on the image I will color.

I used the Mr. G & Words Stamp set on my card. This image is very easy to color with any coloring medium. I stamped the giraffe on a watercolor paper using a watercolor friendly ink. I colored the image with bold, vibrant watercolors. I added a wash of blue watercolor for the background of the giraffe.

For the sentiment, I used my a stamp positioner to break down the sentiment into four lines so it will fit in the open white space next to the watercolored portion of the panel.

I applied watercolor to each word using the same colors I used on the giraffe.

I could have made this into a CAS card but I decided to trim off the edges and matte this panel with a light blue cardstock.

I hope this card inspires you. If you end up creating a project inspired by this, please don't forget to share it on our FB fan page which is linked below. We can't wait to see your creation.

Winter Wonderland

 Hey there, crafty friends!

It’s Blank Page Muse design team member Walter back on the blog today.  Today’s share is similar in theme to my last one on January 10th.  It celebrates winter and living life with childlike wonder.  It’s so nostalgic - I can feel the brisk, cold air and snow as it falls.

Here’s what I used to make it:

Easy Colourful Birthday Cards!

  Hi Stamping Fans!

Hope you have all been enjoying the creations this month! the DT have made some great projects for your inspiration!

Today I have some cards inspired by an online art journal class I did last month.

I've used Lindy's magicals to create the shiny coloured strips on the cards.

Here are the supplies I used and links to them in store:
Butterfly Breezes Clear Stamp Set
Numbers & Flowers Half Sheet Set

These cards are really easy! Cut some strips of watercolour paper and use whatever you have on hand to colour them - I used Lindy's Magicals - you could use watercolours, any ink sprays you have - delve into your stash!
Once dry stencil with black paint - lots of stencils in store you can use for this step! I used the "dots" from the Numbers & Flowers half set to add a few spots of black to the coloured strips.
Stamp your images on watercolour paper and colour with Lindy's Magicals or whatever you used for your strips then fussy cut.
Add some white outlines and paint splatters along with your stamped images and your cards are done!

Thanks for joining me today - make sure you pop back regularly to see what the rest of the DT are creating!

Happy stamping!

Sharon

Unicorn Wishes

Hi its Sue here today showing off double sided papers along with clear stamp set.

For me it is a good thing, when I don't have to choose, which side of the double sided paper I want to show on my card.  This card design shows off both sides of the paper.
Isn't great when you don't have to make a choice!
See more at my blog here.

Sassy Giraffe

Greetings!   Chris here and I am excited to share to sassy Happy Birthday Card. I mean just look at that grin.  I will be perfect for one on the upcoming sassy family member's birthdays!

This Card uses:

The grin is just so fun!

Start by stamping your Giraffe image from I Brake For Stamps Animals onto your stamping paper.  Color as desired.

Using your scissors, cut out your stamped giraffe. I did leave a little tab at the bottom of my image to make it easier to tuck him in behind my papers.

I hope you are inspired to get creative with your stamps and papers from Blank Page Muse and I Brake For Stamps.  Don't forget to use my discount code BPMChris.

Ways of Using a Stencil

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog. Today's project is about how to extend the use of stencils. I also created a DIY stencil which might interest you. Best of all, while my craft supplies are out, I was able to create a bonus card.

I am using several Blank Page Muse products on this card:
I used the stencil as follows:
  1. I applied Deco Transfer Gel over the stencil for foiling.
  2. I pounced Versamark ink over the stencil for embossing.
  3. I traced the open areas of the stencil so I can color it with glitter and metallic pens.
  4. I traced the open areas of the stencil and doodled some diagonal lines on it.
  5. I used the stencil for embossing to add an impression on the gold vellum.
Foiling, Heat Embossing, Coloring, Doodling using a Stencil

For the DIY stencil, I stamped extra two flowers on scrap cardstock. I fussy cut the flower on one of the stamped images, and I fussy cut the flower center saving this piece and both negative cuts. I used these pieces so I can blend the ink to the stamped flowers giving it a more softer look compared to flowers colored with markers.

Since I have a left over piece of the stenciled panel (which I did not want to put to waste), I cut this left over piece into several pieces to create a frame for another card.

I hope you like today's card. If you have another way of using a stencil, please make a comment so I can also try it out. Please visit my blog, Maria Giselle's Creative Cuts, for card details.

Paper Doll Dream!

 Hi Stamping Fans

Happy New Year! Can you believe it's now 2024? Time flies!
Hope one of your new year's resolutions is to make more creative time for yourself!

Today I'm sharing a journal page using some of the fabulous "clear" stamps available in store - have you seen them? Lots to choose from and a great range of little "planner" stamps for those of you who love to decorate your diaries!

I've used these items for my "arty doll" page today:
Dots & Spots Stencil by Donna Gray
Hearts Stencil by Magda Polakow

I used collage paper from my stash and paint for the background along with patterned stamps from the clear stamp set.
I stamped the "corner" stamp and main doll image onto patterned paper from the Sweet Passion paper pack - just love the pink colours!
I used a "head" from a Tim Holtz paper doll and adhered to the paper doll.
I adhered all the stamped paper to the journal background and stamped the "dream" word onto the page.
Some splatters and a page border to finish off!
