I Brake For Goldfinches.
Good Morning peeps....Beth here with my last card as a design team member hope you enjoy it...I love to watch the Goldfinch they are so colorful and pretty, so today I have chosen to use that stamp with a rather unique cut on my card that I happened to see on Pinterest.
because of the size of the stamp I had to go with a 5X7 card....stamped my image on white card stock and then colored it with my Copic's added Happy Birthday through the slot (hard to photograph) papers are CTMH added a ribbon and some beads.
Have a great week
Hugs
Beth

I Brake For Unicorns
{jane bosi}
Happy Monday, Brakers! I've got a non-card project to share today....it's a t-shirt I made using THIS fun digital image! I admit, I was a little leary of the digital image when they first became popular. While I will never abandon the use of an actual stamp for card making, scrapbooking and more, you can see the digital image DOES have it's place!
The beauty of a digital image is the ability to manipulate it! For the t-shirt, I pulled the image into a Microsoft Word document. It's roughly the size of a page, but I easily could have changed the size if I needed to. I printed the image on a sheet of Avery Transfer Paper (I used the stretchable fabric variety) with my ink jet printer. My printer is nothing fancy--any ink jet should get the job done!
After printing, I trimmed the excess around the image and ironed it on. I added color with some Marvy Fabric Markers--I used the florescent pack. You can layer colors to make them more vibrant. What you see in my project, is just two applications of color. Be sure to let the colors dry between applications. After the colors dried, I used some fabric glue and fashion glitter.....cuz, what's a unicorn without a little sparkle?
Have a great day and don't forget to be awesome!

Hello and happy Saturday!
Today I'm sharing a stamp from I Brake For Stamps.
The image is called SINGLE POPPY.
The image is called SINGLE POPPY.
My friend and her mother are very charitable people and are running a craft show in a couple weeks with all of the proceeds going to fund eye surgeries for people who can't afford it. They asked if I would donate some cards to sell so I've been "whipping" some up. I'm sure SOMEONE will like this one! How can you not with this beautiful image?

I Brake For Feathers.....
{jane bosi}
Happy Monday, Brakers! Our designers have been doing a fabulous job lately, right? We've had such diverse posts--such a great representation of the versatility that I Brake For Stamps offers! Nurses and flowers, Santa and snowmen.....I love it all!
Sometimes, I think I'm in a rut.....not stuck, though. I just love this bird sheet so much, I can't stop using it!
I started with a card stock base and covered the front with a piece of designer paper. You can see the pattern peaking out on the edges. The pattern you see behind the birds, is actually white card stock that has been stenciled thanks to Stampinback stencils! It's the same stencil used here. I sometimes forget how fun and interesting stencils can be!
The black windowed card stock is mounted on dimensional tape over the stenciled piece. After coloring the bird image, I trimmed it carefully and added it over the window. A few finishing touches and, wahla!
Thanks for stopping by! TTFN--Jane

I Brake For Lovely Hats
Hi Everyone, I've been MIA for a while. Much to my surprise, I found I had several arteries to my heart blocked and that led to by-pass surgery. So this is my first time back.
I chose this vintage looking hat stamp from IBFS. It is called "Hats". The background paper is by DCWV and called French Country Stack. I colored the hats with Promarkers and shaded the oval with chalk. I also added some of the chalk to the doilies so they wouldn't look so bright white.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will go to the IBFS store. They have so many stamps, I know you can find something you love. God Bless You!!! Peggy

I Brake For Different
{jane bosi} Happy Monday, Brakers!! Raise your hand if you stamp for the therapeutic value? I do! I find great peace in doing things other might consider putzy--like fussy cutting and zentangling!
I started this project because I had been using this fabulous Stampinback Stencil and left it laying on my cluttered desk. Also on my desk, a collection of distress inks. So, I picked up a few of my favorite colors and created a colorful stenciling. Days later, after purchasing a new fine tip Sharpie, I started the doodles. I thought I really wanted to craft something amazing, but what I really needed was the release. After two completed circles, I abandoned the piece to make something blog worthy........and then, still needing the peace, I returned to doodle the remainder.
Once done, I couldn't cover up any of it, so I opted for some stitching around the perimeter and a simple statement, Dare To Be Different. I mounted the sentiment on a die cut that mirrors the zig zag stitching and added a few sequins---because, who doesn't like a bit of sparkle? Next thing I knew.......it was blog worthy :)
Make it a great day, being awesome!

I Brake for Thankful Daisies!
Hello and happy Saturday!
Today I'm sharing a bunch of thank you cards that I made for the end of my school year a few weeks ago. I always receive several very sweet gifts from kids and I since most of them give them to me on the last day of school I always come prepared with thank you cards to quickly write up and give them.
I used two different stamps from I Brake For Stamps today. The image is called DAISIES BORDER and the verse is from the sheet EVERY DAY PHRASES.
I made each card one of a kind just by changing the color of the flower. Daisies don't always have to be yellow!
I used Copic markers to color them.

I'm Brakin' Again!
{jane bosi} Happy Monday, Brakers! After, what I am hoping will be, a short hiatus, I'm back to stamping!! As my first, out-of-the-gate project, I reached for one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Come Fly With Me! I love these whimsical characters. They are fun to color and, also, fun to add to colorful backgrounds.
Water coloring seems to be all the rage in some of the stamping circles I follow. Everyone is using this water color product or that. I'm not going to lie, it's a little hard to keep up with. Using sharpies and rubbing alcohol (because I already had them....), I've tried to emulate a water color look. In truth, I was attempting something else, but I liked the result......so, I went with it! I'm kinda like that in real life.....
Thanks for stopping by!
Have an inky day and, don't forget to be awesome!
