{jane bosi} I've known it for quite some time, but it's nice to see the rest of the world (or at least the genius' at IBFS!!) get on board! Dance IS a super power! I'm using I Brake For Stamps' Humorous Seniors new release to spread the word!!
I just love this limbo granny---so careful not to spill her martini! I can tell her priorities are in order--along with her sense of fun!
I stamped and colored the image twice....it may be hard to tell from my picture, but I've popped up her head for added dimension.
You can get her on the whole sheet or separately or separately with the sentiment. Lots of choices...I recommended the whole hog! LOL!
Be inspired!

I Brake Gym Rats !!!
Hello IBFS fans !!
It's Crystal here and today I made a card using Gym Rat Rita , she can be bought as a single stamp or on a Humorous Seniors Full sheet with other great images , I though she would make a great card for a friend who is doing an awesome job on her weight loss journey ....
today I am going to paper piece her workout clothes , I like to shade my paper pc and then I run a black marker around the edge of the cut , I will also run some matching ink on the stamp image , I do this just in case my paper piece is not cut exact , the ink color under it will camouflage it . my image is copic colored .
inside my card I used and air brush with a copic marker and a stencil ( eBrush by craftwell )
colors I used to color my image
I hope this has inspired you to make a few special cards with a fun image .

I Brake for Humorous Seniors! And Champagne!
We returned early Monday morning from a quick trip to Las Vegas where we stood up with friends who were getting married. Champagne Pearl, one of I Brake for Stamps' fantastic Humorous Seniors stamp collection, featured above, reminds me of several of the women I saw during our trip, down to the pearls, the bubbly, and the glittery eye shadow. Truth be told, I must sadly confess that I probably looked a lot like her too except my dress was navy blue with fluttery sleeves and my hair is shoulder length.
Champagne Pearl was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts) and colored with Copic markers. The image panel was die-cut with one of the dies from the Card Creator 5x7 Nestabilities set (Spellbinders).
A larger die from the same set was used to die-cut green patterned paper from the Two Scoops 6x6 pad (Basic Grey). Clear vellum and gold patterned paper from the same collection were die-cut with the Layered Champagne Glass dies (Die-namics). Vellum was die-cut with the bubble dies from the Grim Cauldron die set (Memory Box).
The image panel was matted with the green patterned paper, then adhered to a card front cut from another sheet of patterned paper from the same pad. The vellum and gold champagne flute die cut was adhered to the card front. The vellum bubbles were lightly touched with some Stardust Glitter pen (Sakura) to add a touch of sparkle and were then adhered to the card.
Silver Stardust Glitter pen (Sakura) added some sparkle to Champagne Pearl's hair. White gel pen was used to highlight her pearl necklace and earrings. Clear Gelly Glaze pen (Sakura) was used to add dimension and shine to her earrings and to her champagne flute. Mint Spica Glitter pen (Copic) was used as glittery eye shadow. Pink Chalk pencil (Derwent) was used to add a touch of blush to her cheeks.
Happy Birthday Class A'Peels stickers were used to add the sentiment to the card, which was then finished with white pearls (KaiserKraft).

I Brake For Water Colors and Tulips
{jane bosi} Happy Monday, Brakers!!
Today, my project features a beautiful image called Tulip. I've used it multiple times in the past, and it remains a favorite always feeling fresh and fun to color. I chose to use distress inks to water color the image piece. I also used a stencil and sponging technique to add some interest, framing the image.
I just couldn't add a sentiment on the front--I didn't want to detract from the beautiful image. Instead, I'll have plenty of room inside the card to add my wishes!
That's all for today! I hope you are feeling inspired! TTFN-Jane

I made a matching envelope too
inside my card I used the LF word bubble die and die cut a few random buttons , also used some quilt paper I had ...
I had Sew much fun creating this card , it will be a great thank you card for anyone who does sewing repair work for you , don't you think ?

I Brake for Swimmers!
Since I still have Valentine's Day on my mind, I decided to riff on the Hey Girl Ryan Gosling meme that's been so popular, using the Naked Man in Water (Stampinback) stamp, who is available at I Brake for Stamps. In my version, the swimmer is saying,
"Hey Girl! I've swum across the ocean to be with you."
Naked Man in Water was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts) and lovingly colored with Copic markers. When I was done, the image panel was die-cut with one of the dies from the Petite Ovals Nestabilities set (Spellbinders).
The image panel was set aside while I created the rest of the card. Patterned paper from the Maritime (7 Gypsies) 6x6 and 8x8 pads was layered according to a sketch from Sketchy Challenges. Both patterned paper and kraft cardstock was die-cut with the Fishtails Flags die set (Die-namics). Blue cardstock was die-cut with the Alphabet Plain Upper and Lower Case dies (Impression Obsession). All edges were sponged with Black Soot Distress ink (Ranger)
I Brake for Stamps has a great selection from Stampinback and lots of other stamp companies. Click on my badge below to be whisked over there to check out all of the goodies!

I Brake For Babies!
Hello and happy Saturday!
Today I'm sharing a baby shower card I made for a co-worker. I actually had so much fun making this that I made another one that I'll share next week. I'll have to give one of them to another co-worker to give her. She doesn't need two from me! lol!
For this card I used LARGE NOAH'S ARK.
Here's a close up of the sweet image. I just love the animals so much! I know that she's having a girl but I could easily swap out the pink in the rainbow and papers I used and make them blue or something neutral if your recipient is waiting to be surprised as to the sex of their baby.
I used a little Wink of Stella on my rainbow to make them shimmer a bit.

I Brake for Pink Daisies ...
Hello IBFS fans !!!
It's Crystal here and today I am using a digital stamp called Betti , a Rick St.Dennis image from the I Brake For Stamps store. I copic colored her and made an easel card , I made pink daisies to hold my card open.
this image was so fun to color , when I saw this image I just knew the flowers on her hat just had to be pink daisies and from there is this card took on a life of its own , sometimes that's all you need to get started on making a card , find and image that you get excited to color .
I hope this has inspired you to make an easel card with a fun image .

I Brake for Mardi Gras Cocktails!
Happy Mardi Gras! Let the good times roll! To that end, here's a card with Cocktail Parade, a Rubber Romance stamp available at I Brake for Stamps.
White Copic-friendly cardstock was randomly sponged with Milled Lavender and Antique Linen Distress inks (Ranger). Milled Lavender Distress ink was sponged over the Harlequin stencil (The Crafter's Workshop). Cocktail Parade was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts). Post-it notes were used to cover the stamped image and background then Antique Linen Distress ink was sponged over the base area to ground the image. Milled Lavender Distress ink was sponged over the hearts portion of the Punchinella Quintet stencil (Joggles). The Cocktail Parade was then colored with Copic markers. White gel pen was added to the reflection area of each cocktail glass.
The image panel was die-cut with one of the dies from the Classic Rectangles Nestabilities die set (Spellbinders). All of the patterned paper is from the Antique Library 6x6 pad (Wild Rose Studios). One of the dies from the Fishtail Flags die set (Die-namics) was used to die-cut a polka-dot flag. The Cheers die (Elizabeth Craft Designs) was used to die-cut a relatively solid piece of patterned paper. Some of the edges were sponged with Milled Lavender Distress ink, while other edges were distressed with the Paper Distresser tool (Tonic Studios).
I Brake for Stamps has a great selection from several different stamp companies and also has their own brand of stamps. Be sure to check out all the great images by Rubber Romance while you're there! Click on my badge below to be whisked over there to check out all of the goodies!

I Brake For The Hokey Pokey
{jane bosi} Happy Monday, Brakers! I thought we could all use a Monday morning chuckle! I Brake For Stamps has such a fantastic line up of these crazy and fun Humorous Seniors--who among us doesn't just love them!?
This hula granny can be found on sheet AA1005 or singly as Ghost of Hulas Past. LOL!! Be sure to check out the whole category because there are so many seriously funny images!
I started by stamping the image on a piece of water color paper and then water coloring with distress inks. I love how you can layer up colors using these inks this way. For a little extra texture, I added some water droplets in a splatter pattern to complete the background.
To finish off the project, I added the thought provoking sentiment: What If.....Get this one while you can......there's only three left in the overstock section!
That's all! Be Awesome--Jane
