Hello Crafty friends! It's Monica from Taylormadecards4u. I am here today to share with you one of my favorite Halloween stamps from I Brake for stamps. I think a witch on a broomstick is the quintessential Halloween image. The stamp is called Large Witch with Cat.
I have a few in my collection, but this one is by far my favorite. It is a silhouette image, which works great against a full moon, and it also has a fantastic black cat riding along.
I started out with a white piece of card stock and blended aged mahogany and black soot distress ink along with faded jeans distress oxide to create the background. I then stamped the branches using the Trees background with Adirondack ink called Ginger.
I used Jet black archival ink to stamp my witch image and utilized my Stamping platform for both of my images. This ensured I had nice crisp stamped images.
I added two Halloween clippings to the bottom and matted it onto some purple designer paper from graphic 45.
To finish off the card, I matted the purple designer paper onto some heavy weight white card stock.
Thanks for stopping by!
