I Brake for a Note ..

Hello IBFS fans !
It's Crystal here and today I have a fun and fast cards I am making for my daughter music teacher at school. When I saw the Music Staff with Flowers image I knew I had to make some note cards for her teacher.Teacher are always send a note home for reminder and such so I made these Just a Note cards for just that purpose .
to make these I cut a sheet of 651 vinyl 4"x12" with Just a Note and cut them out with my silhouette.
I stamped my image and copic colored my flowers and added the words to my card using transfer tape ,I then added glue splatter made with white glue and water 50/50 mix and splatter my card front
I then sprinkled the wet glue with my gold glitter
shake off the excess and save to use again , you are now left with home-made glitter splatters , next I add glossy accents to my flowers and we are done , these are easy to mass produce and are so cute , you can spray with hairspray to give extra hold to glitter if you think its needed .
one of my finished cards I will wrap these in pink tissue and tie a tulle bow to send to her teacher .

I Brake for Flamingos ...

Hello IBFS friends !!
It's Crystal and today I am making a fun card using a digital stamps called Flamingo

isn't he just so stinkin cute , I really love flamingos they come in so many color variations but I love them all . The awesome things about digital stamps is you get them pretty quickly and you can size them to what ever size you need for your card , today I printed 4 to a page on copic quality cardstock and sized him to 70 percent. He is colored with copic markers and I water colored the water , I made glitter splatters ( how to, below ) all over after he was colored I added stickles diamond to water rings and to the tips of his feathers.

the beYOUtiful die is a KasierCraft die , I used a pink mirror board cardstock , I also added a few enamel dots and stapled on some flags

for the inside of my card I used my Silhouette and a gel pen and designed a sentiment I felt was perfect for my card. I added more glitter splatters in pink inside and I added pink gel pen to the word flamingo ..

copic colors : legs R05 , RV23
body :RV29 , RV23  to get a medium color use tip to tip on these two, 0 colorless blender

Glitter Splatters , mix any glue and water 50/50 dip a paint brush in the glue water and splatter on card , knock brush on finger to create splatters then while wet sprinkle glitter to the splatters and knock off excess , let dry and then dust off excess glitter again .

I hope this card has inspired you to try digital stamps or a new to you technique ,

I Brake for a soak ..

Hello IBFS fans !!!!
It's Crystal here with a super simple card and awesome technique called Glitter Splatters for you to try .Today I am using Bubble Bath Belinda to create this card .

okay  to get this look this is what I did Copic color and fussy cut the image out

next I lay down 3 different colors and patterns of washi tape ( Stampin Up ) to the base , later I decide to cut this down to 4" by 5 1/4" to layer on a darker card base

next mix 50 /50 Aleene's tack it over and over glue with water and use a paint brush to tap brush loaded with glue mixture to create splats

next I used diamond glitter and covered the glue splats ( this can be done with any color ) I chose diamond to give a look of bath foam bubbles floating around .

shake off extra and set aside to dry , after its dry with and old paint brush dust off extra glitter
after glitter splats are dry add the image with glue dots to the front of your card , I added wink of stella to bubbles and then added glossy accents to the bubbles on the image  , I added dots of glossy accents not solid spots glossy accents  , this give even more texture

notice I cut the front down to layer on a darker card base , the Love life is a Kaiser die cut
