I Brake For....Monster Mash!!!

Hello stampers - Nancy here today with a bright and cheery card!

This adorable image and sentiment is called Monster Mash set and can be found here by itself or part of the Curiosities Set #1 here.

I love the smile of pure joy on this monster and feel that we all should dance like no one is watching!!!

I colored the image with copics and used a curved border die on the side to mimic the curves of the tutu.  Small flower dies and a swiss dot embossing folder finishes everything off.  I used bright colors of yellow, orange and pink - this is one of those images where you can go bright and bold with color.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Hop on over to the IBFS store to check out all the Curiosity stamps, as well as thousands of other stamps.

I Brake For....Loves Me!

Hello friends, Nancy here today!  Take a look at this little guy and tell me it's not love at first sight!!

Is that not the cutest face!  The stamp and sentiment are from the adorable Carmen Medlin Curiosities line.  This one is called Loves Me and can be found here.  It is also part of a larger set called Curiosities Set 3 found here.

I colored him with mostly red copics.   I used a rounded stitched rectangle die for  the front panel, an EK success punch for the mat and a cute heart embossing folder for the background.  I thought the heart embossing folder was perfect for this set - I've had it in my stash for awhile and never used it.   And take a look at that little bow - it's a two part die that  was a bit difficult working with those little pieces to put it together!

I hope you hop on over to the IBFS store - take a look at the entire Carmen Medlin line for some great stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I Break for Cute Curious Critters!

Here's a card with the Sew Easy rubber stamp set from the Curiosities Set #4 by Carmen Medlin Designs, available at I Brake for Stamps. By the way, IBFS ships internationally!

The seriously cute critter from the Sew Easy set was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts) and colored with Copic markers that were selected to match the patterned paper from the old 6x6 pad. The image panel was die-cut with a stitched rectangle die.

Patterned paper from the pad were layered and then die-cut with an A2-sized stitched rectangle die. The edges were sponged with Black Soot Distress ink (Ranger). Striped washi tape was adhered to the seam between the floral and solidish patterned paper. A fine point pen was used to detail the stitches, then the Sew Easy image panel was adhered.

The leftover solidish patterned paper was die-cut with a banner die and the sentiment from the Sew Easy set was stamped with Jet Black Archival ink (Ranger). The banner was folded and the white bits were colored with Copic markers to match the patterned paper, then the banner's edges were sponged with Black Soot Distress ink.

The sentiment banner was adhered using dimensional foam adhesive in the center of the die-cut and flat adhesive on the ends.

I Brake For....Monster Bash!

Hello IBFS fans - Nancy here today showing a card with a cute monster stamp - I love this little guy!

The image and sentiment is called Monster Bash set and can be found here.  It is part of the Carmen Medlin line and is also included in the Curiosities Set #1 shown here.

I colored him bright green with pink hair and doesn't he look cute holding a plate with a pink and orange cake?? You can't tell from the photo but I added a little sparkle to the cake with a stardust gel pen.

The balloons and stitched curved rectangle are die cuts.

I'm falling in love with these cute monster stamps - they're so much fun to color.  I hope you will take a look at the entire Curiosities line.

Thanks for stopping by today  - hop on over to the IBFS store o find this and other super cute stamps!

I Brake for Curiosities!

The Those Days set includes a dazed looking creature and the sentiment "Ever have one of those days?". The creature from Those Days was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts), colored with Copic markers, fussy-cut, edged with a dark marker, then set aside while I created a background for him.

Clouds were stenciled onto 140 lb. Mixed Media cardstock with Watering Can, Shadow Grey, and Hydrangea Archival ink. Leaf Green and Fern Green were sponged along the bottom of the page.

An ancient tree die-cut was sponged with Tree Branch Archival ink, then touched up with Copic markers. The tree was adhered to the sponged image panel using Matte Multi-Medium, then the creature from Those Days was adhered at the base of the tree. His eyes were touched up with Clear Gelly Glaze pen to make them dimensional and shiny. He was so out of it that he didn't feel a thing! Some white drops were judiciously added with a White One4All paint marker

White cardstock was die-cut with a cardinal die, then colored with Copic markers to magically become bluejays, which were then adhered to the tree.

"Ever have one of those days?"from the Those Days set was stamped in the upper right hand corner using Jet Black StazOn ink . The image panel was matted with black cardstock and adhered to a white card.
