3 Magazine Commissions...

Hi Everyone, Robyn here. I have 3 cards (well 6 really but they are so similar that I'm bunching them together) to share with you today! These are each cards that a UK magazine asked that I create for their August 2011 issue (Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine). What is so neat about this is that they specifically requested these IBFS images! Isn't that neat! Way to go Della! :c)

For the first one, I've used the "To the One I Love" stamp by I Brake for Stamps. I used this card HERE and HERE back in January and February as a Valentine's Day card and a tag. I love it and it is SO cute! Can you tell that I love this stamp! Makes a great anniversary card as well!

This one is called "1902 Cottage" and you can find it HERE on the IBFS website.



The cards are very similiar, apart from using different marker colors...

Finally, here is the 3rd...

This is probably my favorite rubber stamp of the 3 I've shared thus far. It's called 'Miss Rachel in the Garden', again these are all I Brake for Stamps stamps that the magazine requested that I use. There are 3 other "Miss Rachel" stamps on the IBFS website. You can see the others HERE , HERE, and HERE.

The second one really isn't that different, I just changed the marker colors and used a different ribbon and rub-on sentiment... (the lighting is way off in the picture below - sorry about that it wasn't a good lighting day that day).

A Matching Mini

Hi, Regan here!!
Yesterday I decided that my Cute as a Button Gift Bag needed a matching mini album to fit inside!

I used the stamps Miss Rachel in the Garden and Lace Heart by I Brake For Stamps to accent my mini. I again crocheted some flowers and made matching Miss Rachel buttons. All the pages with borders or images have functioning pockets for tags/photos.

What an adorable gift right?

Cute as a Button!

Hi all, Regan here! So today I just had to get in my craft room when this little idea popped in my head..."make your own buttons!" 

We have some of the cutest stamps here at I Brake For Stamps, so why not feature them on a button! I just love the Miss Rachel stamps, so to create this button I used Miss Rachel in the Garden.

I created these buttons using Shrinky dinks, circles #2 sizzix die, my BigKick, Big Bite, Stamp, StazOn Ink, some BIC permanent markers and a heat gun.

 I just love this idea! There are so many possibilities and what better way to match your project than to make your own embellishments!

After I created these I of course had to make something for them to go on, so I made a cute little gift bag that I cut out on my Cricut using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and crocheted a flower for my button to be attached to. Oh.. and we can't forget the jelly beans! :)

Miss Rachel and Butterfly Bookmark

Happy Tuesday! It's Holly posting today. I Brake for Stamps is sponsoring the February 15th "Spring" Challenge over on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog today. I had a blast working with some ribbons and some stamps and bringing them together for two special projects.

My first project is a spring-themed card with this sweet Miss Rachel in the Garden stamp and some pink and white gingham ribbon (7/8").

I colored in Miss Rachel's dress to match the pink ribbon, and then added my own "gingham" lines to her little apron. After I cut this image out, I used the Wisped Frames technique from Technique Junkies. I'm in love with this gorgeous ribbon; it was so easy to tie into a bow and this soft pink is such a perfect spring color.

My second project is a bookmark. I used a length of this 5/8" Random Circles Light Blue Grosgrain ribbon and added some die cut circles and ovals to the top and bottom.

Isn't that a fun bookmark? I stamped the butterfly from I Brake for Stamps's Things with Wings sheet and colored it with Copic markers. I also added a row of blue rhinestones to the body for a little sparkle. The sentiment is from the Every Day Phrases sheet, and I used the Wisped Frames technique around it.

Little Miss Rachel

I created this "Thank you" card for a friend of mine using the adorable "Miss Rachel in the Garden" stamp from I Brake for Stamps. Bunnies seem to be all the rage right now, aren't they? Little Miss Rachel just gives me hope that Springtime will come. It's been such a gray, cold, long winter already and I for one am really ready for warmer, sunnier weather. :c)


I used my Letraset Promarkers to color in Miss Rachel in the Garden.



I stitched around the edges with my sewing machine; I have been doing that a lot lately. I really like the texture and finished look that it adds.
