Christmas Wishes

Hello everyone, I hope this finds you well and enjoying the holiday season.  I have a Christmas card to share today, not too difficult to make at the last minute, if you need a few more.

I started with an alcohol ink background on Yupo paper.  It doesn’t show in the photo but it is a bit shimmery. I stamped right over top with Archival ink with the gorgeous tree background stamp.

I then heat embossed the sentiment on some vellum. This is a brushstroke style script and I like the way it looks heat embossed.

I added some tiny punched snowflakes to finish off my card.  I applied this with some clear glitter glue.  Again these didn’t show up well on the photos, but I found it to be a nice way to glue small things, as the extra glitter on a Christmas cards just adds something to the whole thing!

You can find these stamps in the I Brake for Stamps store.

I Brake for Christmas Wishes!

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  Have you finished your Christmas cards yet?  If not, I have an idea for you.  If so, maybe an idea for next year...

I used the Snowball set of 4 stamps for this card. (There is a cute polar bear stamp I did not use today.).  I stamped these using the Rock N Roll technique with Distress Oxide Inks.  I then used my favorite embossing powder (as is quite obvious as it is the only one that is nearly empty) Sparkle!  This is clear embossing powder with glitter.  Once embossed, the glitter is encased.

I fussy cut the images out and arranged them over some patterned paper, popping up the center snowmen on foam tape. I used the Bold Christmas Wishes sentiment, stamped directly on the patterned paper.

I hope you are having a lovely December.  Take some time to stamp and relax!
