Thank you "dairy" much!

I Brake For Cows!! I've loved this
little cutie since the first time I saw her.
She's from I Brake For Stamps
and her name is Tina Mae.

I wanted a very specific verse to go with
this card because I needed a thank you card
for a student at school that gave me flowers
at the end of the year.  I decided to handwrite
the verse Thank you "dairy" much!  He's a
very smart, soon to be 5th grader, so I think
he'll get the pun.

Spellbinders circles, frames, banner

I'm Having a Senior Moment -- or Two!

Today I want to share with you two cards in contrasting styles that I made using images from #AA1007 Seniors Full Sheet. These images just make me giggle!

The first one is using Movie Maven Maude. She seems like the kind of person that would have a lot of layers, gussy herself up in sequins and glittery clothes, and be a ton of fun too! So her card has lots of layers, a glittery, busy flower, and a fun sentiment too!

The second is a more simple design made with Mowlene. I think she has a lot she would like to say, but I have kept her quiet and without a sentiment this time! The punch in the background is the Fiskars grass punch. Both images are colored with Copic markers and stamped in Palette Noir Black.

Thanks for stopping by!

I Brake For Beauty

{Jane Bosi}  Howdy Brakers!! I'm so excited by this newest release from I Brake For Stamps that I can't even wait until my regularly scheduled posting day to share with you!!  My card features the Lovely Geisha image from the new Asian Sheet.    I find her just gorgeous and, so much fun to color!  I've used my copic markers and a technique called 3D Shadows.  I'm thrilled with the results!  I'm even happier that I was able to step out of my comfort zone a bit with these asian images--not normally something I would gravitate to, however, I'm finding myself so inspired by the elegant beauty....step out of your zone!!

I Brake For Inchies!

I like all of the different designs in this stamp by I Brake For Stamps.  It's called Ornate Inchies Background. There are nine different designs on one stamp, but I chose just four of them to follow the sketch I chose (iSpy Sketches). I actually stamped the whole image and then cut out the ones I wanted to use. I think they make an elegant statement on their own!

Stamps: Ornate Inchies Background by IBFS
Ink: Rose Red (Stampin' Up!)
Paper: Basic Black, Rose Red, Glossy White (Stampin' Up!), Enchanted Collection DP (Bo Bunny)
Accessories: Snow Pearls (Kaiser), photo corner punch (SU!), black satin ruffled ribbon (Really Reasonable Ribbon)

I Brake for Peekers

Hello, Braker Fans. I am late getting my post up today with so many busy events taking place around me, I feel a little out of my "control" comfort zone. Sometimes life does that to us. I guess this week is my turn.

Anyway, I have created a little door hanger for my 7 year old Granddaughter, Isabel. She loves getting my handmade crafts and she is a creative crafter herself. My door hanger features a sweet stamp in the I Brake for Stamps store call "By the Beach Peeker." I love Elisabeth Bells illustrations and they are so much fun to color.

For all the details on this project you can visit my blog.

Have a great week...

I Brake for Elisabeth Bell

Good morning, Braker Fans. It's me, Cathy here with my Tuesday DT project. I Brake for Stamps store just released these lovely Elisabeth Bell stamps from the SCACD Stamp Company recently. And there are more new ones this week as well. I was so delighted as I am a big E. Bell fan. She is a talented artist.

For this card I used the lovely "Susan" stamp. She is available as a single stamp or as a set with some fun characters to color. This is actually a window card with the image on the inside. For more photos and all the details on this project head over to my my blog.

I Brake for Planted Kindness......

{Jane Bosi}

Happy Monday, Brakers!!

I was wanting to try my hand a CAS type card and decided to use this amazing wedding bouquet as my focal image.  The bouquet is colored with copic markers and then trimmed using the Out of the Nestie box technique.  The sentiment is from the Inspirational Sheet #2.   I think this would make a great wedding card--no?  It would also be a good entry for the I Brake For Challenges Summer Fun Challenge.....weddings are fun so, wedding cards are fun, so, GREAT challenge card......just sayin' :)  You can check out the challenge, inspiration and entries here!

I Brake For Sunshine!

There is nothing like a day at the beach! I wish I lived closer to one than two thousand miles, though :)

My card today is made with one of the adorable kids from the MS76 Full Plate. I think she looks like she is ready to build a sand castle! I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored in and made her sand with Copic markers. The pennant sentiment is made with rub on letters.

Our IBFS Challenge this month is SUMMER FUN, so come on over and play!

I Brake For Gladiolas

So here is a card I whipped up for a friend of mine.
I used a new stamp called August Gladiolas.

The background is a technique from this months TJ Newsletter
which I think will become a fast and easy favorite of mine.

I just love the look of this technique and you wouldn't believe how quick and easy it was.

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully you are having a wonderful weekend.

I Brake For Chrysanthemums!

Hello and welcome to my I Brake For Stamps post.
Today I'm sharing the gorgeous Jumbo Chrysanthemum (November's flower)

Don't let the size of my card fool you as to how
big this stamp is.  It would normally fill an entire
card front but I chose to make a huge card. (8.5"x 5.5")

I Googled "yellow chrysanthemum" and tried
to color mine exactly like a real one.

 Supplies:
Spellbinders banner die
Martha Stewart border punch
Craft Concept Cottage Floral embossing folder
photo corners
flat back pearls
