I Brake for Giraffes!

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  I need a few kids cards soon, so I thought I would give this funny giraffe image from Mostly Mice Sheet a try!

I colored the image with markers and cut it out.  I then popped it up over a background I did with a stencil. Then, I used a fun stamp for the birthday sentiment from this set.  I had some enamel embellishments in the shapes of arrows and I thought that would be a fun addition for a tween card.  I’m pretty happy with how this turned out.

Have a wonderful day and keep on stamping!

I Brake for Mouse Love!

Hello!  I have a cute card to share today that I am probably going to use as a Masculine Valentine.

 It is cute,
 it is woodsy,
and I like it!

I combined 3 different stamp sets for this card.

Card process:  First I stamped my mouse and mushroom image with Memento Black ink. I colored it in with alcohol markers.  Next, I masked around the mushroom cap with masking paper.  I used red ink to stamp the Bubble Wrap background onto the mushroom cap. After removing the mask, I used colored pencils to add just a little detail.

The background is kraft paper with a woodgrain embossing folder. I inked the raised portions with dark brown ink.  I then used the brown ink to stamp my sentiment, and embellished the card with die cuts.

Thank you for visiting today!

I Brake for Hello’s!

Hello 2020!  I want to wish you all a Happy New Year!

I made a little clean & simple card using Mostly Mice sheet and for the stamped background and sentiment, the Bubble Wrap, Lattice and flowers sheet.  All are stamped in dark brown ink.

The mouse is simply colored and cut out, then popped up on dimensional tape.  I am thinking I should make a few with a Thank You sentiment, too.

Have a wonderful day!

I Brake for Mostly Mice Thank You Notes!

As promised, I stamped up a few more of the images from the Mostly Mice stamp set, which is one of the newest sets in the store, sold as an unmounted sheet.  I decided to start on a card set to give as a gift, to a music teacher.  I know that at the holiday, she will be getting a lot of teacher gifts and may need some thank you notes.

I colored the images with alcohol markers.  For the first card, I made it look as if the critters were looking over a wall of patterned paper.  I stamped the Thank You from this Sentiment set onto yellow cardstock and trimmed it out.

The second card uses two of the images.  The little student mouse fits just right under the teacher bunny, but they are two separate images.  These are so sweet and fun to color.

Thanks for visiting!  Happy Stamping!

I Brake for Mostly Mice!

Hello! I hope you saw the announcement that there are new stamps in the store!  When I saw this new set called Mostly Mice, I knew I had to have it!  It is full of wonderful images, and I know children will like them, but in all honestly, I think I know plenty of adults who are going to love them too!

This little teapot image is so easy to color.  I then just die cut it and used a sketch and patterned paper to create this pretty Thank You note.

I will definitely be using more of these stamps in the near future!

You can purchase these in the I Brake for Stamps store.
