I Brake For Pia!

 

Happy Saturday, Kristen here with another Rick St. Dennis image to share with you today!   When I saw this image, I knew I had to have it, as her name is Pia, and one of my best friends name is Pia.  So guess who this card is headed too....LOL...While this is a very simple card, I just love the image.  As you may have noticed, I am having myself a great time with all these images.  Today's card may be on the pretty side, where the next card I have to share with you is completely opposite....hehehe...I think my card making is like Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde....Well, I hope you have a great weekend

I Brake For Beautiful Flowers!

Hello everyone!
Today I'm sharing a pair of cards that I made.  They're very similar but one is for a birthday and one is a sympathy card.  I had two customers ask me for a birthday/sympathy card and since my time was limited when they asked I made "duplicates" and just changed them to suit the occasion.

The image I used is called Floral Silhouette Bouquet.  I Brake For Stamps has tons of gorgeous floral images.  Here is the sympathy card.  I stamped the image twice on printed paper.

Here is the inside of the sympathy card with the beautiful IBFS verse called With Sympathy.

Here is the very similar birthday card.

On the front I used the verse Sending Smiles and on the inside I used Best Wishes Birthday.

Praying Cammy

Have you seen one newer Cammy images, Praying Cammy?  It's so sweet and a must have if you are a fan of the Chelsea Le Designs images as I am.  Of course, the Cammy images are super adorable to begin with, but I truly think this one takes the cake.  Don't take my word on it, look below and see for yourself.

Adorable, right!  I love yellow and pink together, especially for little girl images.  If only my daughter were this little again, but alas, at 16 I don't think this card is for her!

Welcome to My Dark Side!

Happy Sunday All, Kristen here with a preview of my other side, my dark side...LOL.  If you have been following the blog, you may have noticed that I tend to be a cutesy stamper, and I usually am, but once in a while I like to head on over, to what I call my dark side. I very much enjoy playing with "creepy" images, and even making them more creepy then they already are...As you can see here, I used the Mad Hatter image and gave him blood Halloween images....ARGH...I need them all....
shot eyes...LOL..I love it!  I would have loved to add the saying "We are All a Little Mad here", but I didn't want to ruin the card!  The image is so amazing by itself!  I just think these Rick St. Dennis images are so much fun...and, have you seen the new

Handy Andy, Humorous Senior...reporting for duty!

Hello everyone!
Hope you all had a nice 4th of July! 

Since the last card I made was more of a pretty one I felt like busting out something funny this week.  This Humorous Senior is called Handy Andy.

I Brake For Stamps is LOADED with funny images and verses.  Lots of masculine ones too which can be harder to find.

I used a cute ruler embossing folder and some "fix it" themed paper.  I also had these cool screw eyelets that were just perfect for this.  The mattes were done with Spellbinders dies.

This image has a funny verse with it that says Say No To Crack!  Unfortunately, that one's still on my wish list so for now the inside is blank.

Fashion Lady #4

Hi all, Happy Tuesday!  A rainy Tuesday here, I hope you are enjoying some better weather.  Rain means an excuse to stay inside and play in my craft room though, so I guess I can't complain too much.  A little cleaning to finish up and then it's time to play and create!

Today I am posting a card I made using the image, Fashion Lady #4.  If you are into vintage, you will like this line of stamps, they are really are a great set of images!  My card is more of a modern style, but I think the stamp still works.  I'll let you decide.

I Brake for Tweddle Dee & Tweedle Dum!

Happy Thursday!! It's Kristen here, with another Rick St. Dennis card for you today.  I fell in love with this image the minute I saw it, but I had no idea what I was going to do with it, and actually, as I was coloring the image, I still had no idea, but I LOVED coloring this image, and actually, I enjoy coloring all his images.  If you still haven't had a chance to check out the new images at I Brake for Stamps, you can go Here and see them all!

Fleur Femme

It's officially summer and the hot weather has arrived.  I've been spending the last few days indoors enjoying the air conditioning, which has given me plenty of time to work on my crafty projects.  My project for today uses the image,Large Fleur Femme.  This is a really fabulous image, as a the Femmes are, and was easily made into a card.  Some images are like that, you know, they just get your creative juices flowing from the minute you see them.

I Brake For Rick St. Dennis

Happy Sunday, Kristen here.  Have you all had a chance to check out the new Rick St. Dennis digis Della has add to the website??? Ahhh....I am crazy about these images...If you ask me they are ALL must have in my collection.  Today, I am sharing with you Leah.  She is my very first Rick St. Dennis stamp, and I chose her because I loved her hair and couldn't wait to give her pink streaks, which I did.  I completely love the pink and black together.  Leah reminds me of Pat Benetar, which was my generation....

I Brake For Dancers!

Hello everyone!
Today I'm sharing a card that I made for my daughter's dance teacher.  Over the years she's become a friend to us and fortunately only lives 2 miles from us.  She brings Makena home for me on many nights freeing me up to do, well, unfortunately nothing very exciting...laundry, grocery shopping etc...

I completely appreciate her for this and each year at Christmas and at the end of dance season I give her a thank you card and a little gift.

This is the card that I made for her most recently.  I've used BALLERINA #2 from I Brake For Stamps on her card.

I purchased it with my friend's sister-in-law in mind. She lives in N.C. and has a beach house. 

My friend is always asking for birthday or thank you cards for her.  My dad is a big time "cruise/beach" person though so I thought it would work good for him too!

I Brake For Fairies!
