A Christmas Kiss

 Hello everyone, and Happy Thursday!!
Today I have another Tag I created for gifts this year. On this tag I used I Brake For Stamps "A Christmas Kiss" stamp, and colored it with copic markers. I figured why not make my own. So I have been busy creating for at least 1 gift per person. I think these will be darling on the packages :) These tags are pretty big, most measure about 4 3/4" x 5" I think this one is 4 3/4" x 4 3/4".
I love this sweet image, I thought it was too cute! I did enjoy coloring it up and then added some stickles for the glitz on this one. I Brake for Stamps has soooo many darling Christmas stamps, it makes me want them all....hehehehehe

I used all die cuts for cutting out my layers, and then added a sticker for the Merry Christmas, but I did punch it out with SU! punches. The Poinsettia is cheery lynn, and the little gems are studio calico. I added some ribbons and then some glitter. Super fun and easy to make tags. So far I think I have made 6 different big tags :) and I still have more to make :)
Thank you so much for looking and have a lovely day!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

I Brake for Mooses!

I apologize for my bad pun but I really couldn't help myself. Really. The aptly named Moose is one of the fabulous digital stamps available at I Brake for Stamps.

Moose was resized in PhotoElements, printed out onto Copic-friendly cardstock with my laser printer, then colored with my Copic markers. I added holly vines and berries to Moose's antlers using very old Christmas-themed rub-ons.

The image panel was die-cut with a rectangle die. The image panel was left in the die and Distress inks were sponged over the die to create a bordered background around MooseThe die was lifted and the image panel was set aside.

Ancient Christmas-themed patterned paper was edged with Distress ink, then layered. Red cardstock was die-cut with a Merry die and the rest of the letters for the sentiment were die-cut and adhered to piece of coordinating patterned paper. The Christmas rub-on set had some little white snowflakes and xxxes, so those were used to add to the sentiment panel and the upper part of the image panel.

The card front was assembled and adhered to a kraft card.

I  Brake for Stamps has a great collection of digital stamps plus a huge and varied collection of rubber stamps that you ought to check out right now. Click on my badge below to be whisked over to I Brake for Stamps to check out all of the goodies!

I Brake For Birthdays

Happy Sunday!  And that means it's my turn to share my  I Brake for Stamps card. I used the  Party Balloons and  Dot Letter Happy Birthday to make a fun and festive birthday card.  I made a card using these same stamps a few weeks ago and it looks completely different, you can see it HERE.

The Party Balloons were stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  They were then colored with Zig Clean Color pens. I stamped Happy and Birthday separately even though they are one stamp. Happy was stamped on a tab that was punched from orange paper and Birthday was stamped in black below the balloons.  The whole stamp was stamped with blue to make the background.

I hope I have inspired you to Stamp This!

A Hug for Rudolph tag

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all!
I have to say this was a super fun tag to create using the DARLING I Brake For Stamps image called "A Hug for Rudolph". What a super cute stamp this is! I had fun coloring it up using copics and then some stickles for some glitz.

Tag was super easy to to make. I cut out all my die pieces and used foam tabs to pop them up. Next I stamped my image on white card stock and then cut it out using a cheery lynn circle die, and then airbrushed,a nd colored it up. My bow was created and then hot glued on along with the poinsettia sticker embellishment. I wanted a quick tag as we were getting ready to head out of town :) And this one I think turned out super sweet!!!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today!! Thank you for stopping by, and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Here's my card with Dancing with Dragonflies from the wonderful Natural Beauties Collection of rubber stamps by Carmen Medlin Designs available at I Brake for Stamps.

Dancing with Dragonflies was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts) onto white cardstock and was colored with Copic markers. Blue glitter pen was used to add a glittery touch to the dragonfly in Dancing with Dragonflieshair, her anklet, and the body of the dragonfly that she's holding.

I Brake For Note Cards

Hi, Jamie Martin here with you today with some of my favorite cards to make, clean and simple, they look so fresh and pretty.  That's the style I used to make some note cards using stamps from I Brake For Stamps.  The roses and words are from the Fruit and Flowers Sheet set, and I really like the Victorian look that they have.

To make the green card, the roses were stamped on a white panel with Peeled Paint Distress ink. A thin strip of Scor-Tape was placed below the roses, Beautiful was stamped below that three times and then more Scor-Tape was placed below that.  The liner was then removed and ultra fine gold glitter was rubbed on the tape.  This as then layered onto a green panel and mounted to a white card. As a finishing touch a few gold Dot Sparklers were added around the roses.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to Stamp This!

I Brake for Polar Pals ...

Hello IBFS fans !!
It's Crystal back with another Christmas card idea using the adorable Polar Pals, this is a red rubber stamp and stamps so crisp and clear , I used momento black ink because I am copic coloring this image.

To make my back ground around my image I started the back ground first, no making just don't color the image and flick with your marker tip from image outward into sky area , I start with B1 next to my image flick and them go over that but flick even farther our with the B000 and then on outer edge of the bluesI  used B0000 and go in circler motion to blend the edge and I take 92 percent alcohol ( I put in old bath and body spritzer bottle ) and spray on my finger tip until it drips into my image , it reacts like colorless blender but faster and lightens the area i do blot with a paper towel and then use the heat tool to dry , then i go back in with my blues and stipple dots here and there for more texture. after it is dry I then go back and color my image in.

I turned this into a shaker card , I love making these and friends love getting them

I used a border snowflake die and cut some acetate and then melted it a bit with heat tool to give more dimension and stuck it behind my image on card front , the tiny snowflakes are a lawn Fawn die , I also used a memory box dies called Amana Circle and I cut it in half and tucked it under image too , kinda looks like a big snowflake when cut from Stampin Ups Glimmer paper .

inside my card , I used the negative from the shaker frame on the inside and a die cut sentiment and more snowflakes .

I hope my card has inspired you to try this technique  , and if you love this image or want to see others , run over to the I Brake for Stamps online store and take a look around, I know you will find lots of great stamps and digi to create with .

I Brake for Steampunk Peg!

Here's a thank you card that I created with Steampunk PegRick St. Dennis digital stamp exclusively available at I Brake for Stamps.

Steampunk Peg was resized in PhotoElements, then printed out onto Copic-friendly cardstock with my laser printer. Steampunk Peg was colored with Copic markers, then several layers of Clear Gelly Glaze pen were added to the skull and dagger, her earrings, and her brooch to add glossy dimension to those elements.

The image panel was matted with patterned paper from the Steampunk Debutante 8x8 pad, which was edged with Black Soot Distress ink (Ranger). The same pad supplied the other patterned papers which were also edged with Black Soot Distress ink then layered.

Gold metallic cardstock was die-cut with my a variety of Steampunky dies and a sentiment die and added to the image panel to complete the card.

This jingle bell elf was fun to color and makes a great holiday card!  I stamped the image twice and popped up the little elf for extra interest and dimension.  I haven't gotten out my copic markers in a while so, this was a fun little project for me :)

Are you feeling the holiday jolly yet?   A little visit to the store is sure to get you on your way!

I Brake For Party Balloons

Hi, it's Jamie Martin here with you today for my Sunday post.  Today I have a birthday card for you and it has a little shine, a little sparkle and a little dimension.

Here is how my card was made;

1.  Party Balloons were stamped on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
2.  The balloons were colored with Zig Clean Color pens, Glossy Accents was used on top of the balloons and set aside to dry.
3.  Once dry Distress Inks in Pistachio, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans were sponged over the panel.  Use a paper towel to rub the ink off the balloons and embossed area. Glue to a black card.
4.  Stamp Dot Letter Happy Birthday on white paper with Onyx Black ink, emboss with clear.  It's one stamp but I cut the words apart and layered them onto black paper.  A few dots of Caribbean Ocean Nuvo were randomly added and left dry.
5.  Pop up Happy at the top of the card and glue Birthday to the bottom.
6.  Add black Dot Sparklers and some sequins.

Head on over to the I Brake For Stamps website and see the wide variety of stamps that are available.

I Brake for New Grandparents!

Hello and happy Saturday!

It's my day over on the I Brake for Stamps blog.

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for my co-worker who recently became a Grandmother for the first time.

I used BEAR and GRANDPARENTS both from IBFS.

My friend threw a baby shower for her daughter-in-law and I knew she had a rustic theme for it so I thought the wood grain paper would work nicely with the teddy bear.

I used some acrylic glaze on the balloons to give them some shine.
