I Brake For Larkspur

I used the July Larkspur stamp along with the Terra Cotta Pot.

I masked the pot and stamped the flowers onto it.

I couldn't wait to try out my new copic terra cotta and patina skills and knew this was the perfect stamp for that.

I used the Ombre Watercolor resist technique on the background with.

I love cool colors and pinks, blues and purples are my fave!

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty Sunday!

I Brake For Mice on the Beach!

I love digital images. I can remember when I said I would never use acrylic....and that I would never use digis! Never say never! I love how you can make them any size you want, or flip them and manipulate them with other images.

There are just the CUTEST digital images in the I Brake For Stamps store. You can see them all HERE.
Today's creation uses the adorable Sun Bathing Mouse. He is on his sandy beach, just hanging out with his cool pink sunglasses (real mice wear pink). I printed my image on Georgia Pacific White cardstock, and then colored it in using Copic Markers.  I added a little pennant banner blowing in the beachy breeze.

Try some digis today!

I Brake for Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day to all our American Brakers!

Today at the I Brake For Stamps Challenge blog we have a new challenge, and this is a peek of what is there!
I stamped this little American baseball player from MS76 Full Plate with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored in using Copic markers. I computer generated the sentiment and then cut it out with a Spellbinders pennant die. The designer paper pennants are made from Authentique's Glory Collection.

I hope you will come play along in our new July challenge! And have a wonderful 4th!

I Brake for Freedom

Hi, Braker Fans! For my Tuesday DT project I made a festive July 4th themed card. This stamp is a digi from the store called "Large Flag."

The stamp is originally in gray scale so I used Photoshop to give it some traditional red, white and blue color. It is so "Stars and Stripes" don't you think?

For all the details on supplies and how I made the card, go to my blog.

I hope you all have a safe and fun celebration of Independence Day tomorrow.

See you next week.

I Brake For Cherry Blossoms!

Here is a card I did using the new Asian release stamp called "Cherry Blossom".

I used a technique called Stained Glass Stickles and Distress Spritzing.  I just love how the image sparkles and pops off the page.  I used my distress inks on the background with a dreamweaver stencil that looked like cherry blossoms.  I cut the circle with my spellbinders dies.  This was such an easy card to make and I hope to make some more cards with this beautiful image.

Have a crafty Sunday and thanks for stopping by!
