I Brake for Winter Birds!

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  I am sharing a Christmas card I made using a stamp set called Bird Sheet 141A.  This is not a Christmas set, but can be used for all occasions.

I first stamped the bird and branch in brown in and colored it with pencils.  I was thinking of a House Finch when I was coloring this bird, as it is a frequent visitor to my feeders.  I die cut the branch and fussy cut the bird.  I decided to add Christmas colors using cardstock in my layout and then perched the bird on the branch. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops just for a touch of sparkle.

You can purchase this stamp set in the I Brake for Stamps store!

Have a wonderful day!

I Brake for Rudolph!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing one final Christmas card.
I made this for my daughter.
She's away at school and will be home by the end of the week but I know how she likes to get mail so this will go in the mailbox Monday morning.

I've used the reindeer from

On the inside I used Merry Christmas from Every Day Phrases

I just love bling so I added some Wink of Stella to his nose (though it doesn't show well in the photo) and some yellow stickles to the stars.  He has the cutest face ever!!

I Brake for Christmas Wishes!

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  Have you finished your Christmas cards yet?  If not, I have an idea for you.  If so, maybe an idea for next year...

I used the Snowball set of 4 stamps for this card. (There is a cute polar bear stamp I did not use today.).  I stamped these using the Rock N Roll technique with Distress Oxide Inks.  I then used my favorite embossing powder (as is quite obvious as it is the only one that is nearly empty) Sparkle!  This is clear embossing powder with glitter.  Once embossed, the glitter is encased.

I fussy cut the images out and arranged them over some patterned paper, popping up the center snowmen on foam tape. I used the Bold Christmas Wishes sentiment, stamped directly on the patterned paper.

I hope you are having a lovely December.  Take some time to stamp and relax!
