I Brake for The Monster Mash!

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  With Halloween quickly approaching, I though I would color this monster stamp with colored pencils while I was at my crafting group the other night.  I couldn’t decide on just one color combo for her, so I decided to do two cards.

The first card uses a black card front with a peekaboo window to frame out my monster.  I cut up the sentiment and arranged it around the card.  I added Nuvo Silver glitter drops.

The second card uses some scraps of Halloween paper.  I stamped the sentiment in full on this card.  This stamp set is called Monster Mash and is available in the I Brake for Stamps store!

Have a great day!

I Brake for the Sea!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing the card that I made for my sister-in-law's birthday next month.  She lives in North Carolina and loves the beach!

I'm hoping my sequins look a little like bubbles...that was the look I was going for.
On the front I used a pebble die to cut out the border.
On the inside of the card I used the same die to emboss the design.

I Brake for One More Flower...

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  I would like to share a card today using a combination of stamps from different sets.  I started out knowing that I wanted to make a card using a dark card base and I knew what basic layout I was going to use.

I first stamped the lattice stamp from the Bubble Wrap, Lattice and Flowers sheet on kraft cardstock and used gold embossing powder.  This stamp is about ATC sized, so it is a nice starting point for a card layout.  I then stamped and colored flowers from the Floral Half Sheet set.  I started with two, and then kept stamping “just one more” and adding it to the card until I had five flowers total.  I added a few little sequins to add some extra shine to the card.  The Hello sentiment was also heat embossed in gold.

Thanks for stopping by!  Know that the I Brake for Stamps store is always open, and that we will be back soon with more stamping inspiration from the design team.  Have a crafty day!

I Brake for October’s Flower of the Month!

Hello from design team member, Heidi.  October’s Birth Flower is the Calendula.  This is also called the English Marigold and comes in shades of yellow, orange and peach.  It is a really pretty flower, and goes well with fall colors.

I colored the flower with alcohol markers and fussy cut it out. I paired it with a lovely plaid paper and added a birthday sentiment to finish off the card.

This stamp is available in the regular size, that I used, and a jumbo size!  They both can be found HERE.  The birthday sentiment is part of this great sentiment set.

Thanks for visiting today!  Happy Crafting!

I went with a very romantic, shabby chic, vintage feel because I love that style.
I think this would be so pretty to give to a friend or my mom or sisters for their birthday.

Everything is popped up on dimensional foam to give my card some depth and personality.

I Brake for Florals!

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  I never get enough of floral stamps!  I really like the style of these ones from the Floral Half Sheet - I used two of the stamps from that set in my card.

I did do some simple masking over the smaller stamp before I stamped the tulip pot.  I then colored it in with alcohol markers before composing this layout with patterned papers.

Do remember that the I Brake for Stamps store is always open - they have over 3000 images. Please come back again soon to see more inspiration from the design team!
