I Brake for Strawberries!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a sweet new image from I Brake for Stamps!
As soon as I saw the strawberry I remembered that I had the perfect paper to go with it!
Don't you love those sweet little strawberries?

The image is from Flowers and Strawberry Sheet.

On the inside I used a sentiment from the Every Day Phrases set.
I have gotten SO MUCH use out of this set.  I use it on probably half the cards I make.

Wouldn't this be perfect for a "thank you berry much" card too?!
I can definitely see that in my future!

I paper pieced the two big leaves just to shake things up a bit.

I Brake for Dance

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to all!
Today's card is using the Super SWEET Limbo Dance Daphne set, from I Brake For Stamps Humorous Senior Stamps. I made this card for this weeks Sketch challenge on SCS, and thought she was PERFECT for this sketch! I wanted to use some different colors as I love mixing them up a bit, so went with the red, teal, yellow, and pink for this card today.

http://ibrakeforstamps.com/images/products/detail/limbolady_set.1.jpg
My card was super simple to make, as I cut the white card stock for the base at 6" x 12" and then scored at 6" to make my 6" x 6" card.
Next I cut the blue/teal card stock at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2", and the red is 5 1/4" x 5 1/4". For the dp pieces I used 2 pieces and then a strip. The 2 main ones are5" x 2 1/2" and then 5" x 3" then I had a piece leftover and cut it5 " x 1" that is the yellow. I then added my sewing. Super EASY!! I stamped my sentiment on the chevron design paper.

For my image, I stamped her in black memento ink, and then colored with copics BG15,BG32,BG23. Next I used E27,E57 for the hair, and for the red I used R59. The skin tone is R00. and for the glasses I used a Red "atyou spica" pen. I did add some stickles to her outfit and flowers.

Lastly to embellish I used ribbons, brads, and sewing!

I Brake for a Miss You Letter ..

Hello IBFS fans !!

It's Crystal here and today I am using Stressed Estelle to make my Miss You card. Fro this card I looked at the image and was just imaging her getting a letter from a long lost friend and them writing about them missing her , so this is how my card started , I then colored her up with Prisma colored pencils and baby oil and blending paper stumps .I then found some miss You word bubble dies I had ( My Creative Time ) , I made rolled flowers and added die cut leaves and a few sequins , I distressed my card layers and added stickles to the flowers petal tips for some sparkle .

I Brake for Dogwood Blossoms & Video Tutorials

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a card I created for I Brake For Stamps, using the Beautiful "Dogwood Blossoms" Stamp. LOVE this beauty! Super easy to color, and I really enjoyed using the blues and yellows here.

So my card was created for SCS Color challenge yesterday! I tried to get the blues as close as possible, so I did have to mix 3 colors to do so...hehehehee I do love the way they turned out!

I stamp the Beautiful Dogwood Blossoms stamp in memento black ink, and then colored them up using copic markers BG09,BG72,B18 , those were used for the blues on the flowers. Next I used Y08, & YR31 for the centers. I then added some stickles to give some glitz!
The layers I cut a 12 x 6 black card stock, then scored at 6" to create my 6 x 6 card.
Next I cut another black at 5 3/4" x 5 3/4". then yellow Echo park dp at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". set aside to sew later. Next  black layer was cut at 5" x 5" and then the blue design paper at 4 3/4" x 4 3/4", set this aside to sew later. Last layer was cut at 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" , then the yellow dp was cut at 3 1/4" x 3 1/4", now I take and sew each panel.
Embellishments- I added some white gel dots, Yellow ribbon, big pearl, and some green brads to complete my card for today.

I love that all the flowers are blooming right now, its so nice to see, after what seemed to be a long winter. I Brake for stamps carries so many beautiful flower stamps, and even some NEW Releases, that can be found HERE!~ All Flowers can be found HERE!

I Brake for Beads

Here's a card featuring Mardi Gras BeadsRick St. Dennis rubber stamp, available at I Brake for Stamps.

Personally, I think she's suitable for many more occasions than just Mardi Gras! Mardi Gras Beads was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts), fussy-cut, edged with a black pen, and colored with Copic markers. When I was done coloring her, I used Clear Gelly Glaze pen (Sakura) to add dimension to the skulls on her earrings and necklace.  A few different gel and glitter pens were used to add accents to the beads on her earrings and necklace.

The patterned paper is old Halloween paper by Recollections. Black Soot Distress ink was used to edge the layers and card front.

I Brake for Stamps is where you'll find great selections of Rick St. Dennis rubber stamps plus lots of other stamps from other stamp companies. Click on my badge below to be whisked over to I Brake for Stamps to check out all of the goodies!

I Brake for Dandelion Wishes!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a wistful new image from I Brake for Stamps
I know dandelions are considered weeds or pest flowers but I can remember growing up and making a wish on them and then blowing the feathery seeds into the air.

I paired it with an older sentiment that I think matches it perfectly!
Best wishes for a wonderful birthday.  Don't you think they go great together?

I filled the shaker portion with some seed beads and I cut up a white feather so that it would look like some of the white fluffy seeds on the dandelion. I also water colored the image to make it look a little more magical.

I Brake For Mums

Hello everyone, and Happy Wednesday to all!  Today's card was created for I Brake For Stamps, using the Beautiful Large MUMS! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the Beautiful flowers from the IBFS store! If you would like to see I Brake For Stamps NEWEST Release of Flowers Please visit HERE! Have fun!!!

My Inspiration for my card came from this weeks Color Challenge on SCS. LOVE these beautiful colors together. I am really pleased with this one! Hope you like it too!
My card Measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"
I Colored my mums with Copics YR31, and for the greenery I used BG10 & BG72. I also went over parts of the flowers with glimmer paints Sea Foam, Sunshine, and buttercup, these are CIP's, I have had them for a long time. LOVE how easy these are to color.

Die cuts I used are Spellbinders LOVE their fancy corners and square frame! The design paper is Echo Park For the Record 2, I have had this pack for many years, and I have been trying to use up some of the older collections lately. Boy do I have a long way to go...hehehehe funny how we always seem to need more papers. NOT! hahahah

Ribbon is OLD it is Vintage Seam Binding that I received for free. LOVE that! I used a color that matches pretty close, and then the gray and white are the same roll, funny it came that way with 3 different colors. I also used some dew drops as embellishments for my card today.

I Brake for Mysterious Ladies!

Here's my card with Fantasy Lady (Stampinback)that is available at I Brake for Stamps. I think she's very mysterious looking. What do you think?

Fantasy Lady was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts), colored with Copic markers, fussy-cut, and edged with a black pen. Glitter pen was used to add a bit of shimmer to her tiara, earrings, and bracelets.

The patterned paper is from the Couture 8x8 pad (Graphic 45). Gold foil stickers were used to add both some pizzazz and a sentiment. A gold leafing pen was used to edge the piece.

I Brake for Stamps is where you'll find great selections of Stampinback stamps plus lots of other stamps from other stamp companies. Click on my badge below to be whisked over to I Brake for Stamps to check out all of the goodies!

I Brake for Tutorials and Cherry Blossom w/Dreams

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with my Cherry Blossom with Dream card and a Video Tutorial showing how I created this 3-D glass look using this Beautiful Stamp from I Brake For Stamps

OK I LOVE IBFS flowers! There are sooo many Beautiful ones to choose from, and there are also some NEW ones to see HERE! I absolutely LOVE them all! And even the darling Strawberry! so Sweet!!!

Stamped my image in a Peeled Paint Green, and then cut that image out using a die cut. Next I stamped my image in black, and airbrushed it, and fussy cut the flowers out. In my video I show how this is all done.

For my card base it is a 6" x 6" card. I then used some scraps of HC design paper. I keep a stack of all my design paper scraps on the floor by me, and try to pull from those as much as possible. for the card stock scraps I put those back in their tray. I did add sewing to the 2 panels on my card for today. I wanted you to be able to see the image and design paper without covering either up. So my bow is by the image, and I added a few pearls to the card layers.

Hello IBFS fans !

It's Crystal here and I am back with an image I colored with colored pencils and baby oil. The image I am using today for my card is Slottin' Gertrude from I Brake for stamps online store.I added a die cut sentiment Celebrate and left the inside blank so I can turn this card into a birthday card or anything else I may need. I have learned that it's good to keep some cards on hand that can be made into any occasion .
