I Brake For Cherry Blossom Dream

Hello everyone & Happy Sunday to all!
Cheryl here today with a card that  was created for I Brake For Stamps and this past weeks SCS Sketch challenge! I absolutely LOVE IBFS flower stamps, and they have TONS to choose from. I thought the Cherry Blossom Dream was a beauty, and would work perfect for doing 3-D flowers. For this weeks sketch challenge I LOVED it, as its simple but beautiful! Normally I love lots of layers, and I'm not a simple girl, but I think I pulled this one off pretty well I'd say....hehehehe

My card came together super FAST as I had my image already prepped for the challenge. Love that about stamping, as you can always pre stamp and work with your images to have them ready to use at any time! when I do that I always have some design paper ready with my image, so I can use them together. The card base was sooo simple to do. I cut it at 6 x 12" and then the bazzill at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"  and dp was at 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" . I then cut a side strip of the same dp, but its a different pattern on the same page. Its to the left, and measures 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" I then added the border die cut in white to cover the seam. My circle and scalloped circle are placed beneath the panel/die cut border on the left. I then added my sewing. Next I added my fussy cut stamped image, and then the flowers on top of that. To complete my card I added the seam binding bow, and smile tag!

Cherry Blossom Dream Stamp was stamped 2 times on white card stock using Memento black ink. I did this, so I could cut the 1 image out entirely and the other image I cut just the flowers and a couple of leaves. Now on this stamp, I did use airbrushing, it made for a quick coloring job. I used Copics to airbrush the flowers. Colors used are: R00, and RV11 for the flowers , and for the leaves I used copic YG13. I did use viva pearl pen in white for the dots on the butterfly.

Tag is Jen Hadfield Home Made phrase tags.
Design paper is Prima Princess. I absolutely love this soft but sweet dp. /Cardstock is Bazzill blank Check and American Crafts white card stock.
Ribbon  pink seam binding.
Die Cuts-Spellbinders circles and Fancy Floral Lace Border.
