I Brake For More Fashionista!!!!

Good morning peeps hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas I know I did......well this is Beth here with a card showcasing one of the newer sheets from IBFS and is called More Fashionista and is a half sheet of stamps.

I went a little Retro with these stamps with the bright colors and chose to do the Warhol technique on my card with a twist instead of stamping each square with one image I did all 3 models.

Hope you like what I did with these fabulous images and will see you next week....have a Happy prosperous New Year.
Hugs
Beth

I Brake For Boat Wishes....

{jane bosi}
I'm sailing into the new year with barely a backward look!  Happy Monday, Brakers!!

Can you believe 2015 is almost upon us?  Crazy!  I hope you all have enjoyed restful and safe holidays and are also fixed on the year of possibility that lies ahead of us!

I have a fun and colorful card to share today!  I began with a section of double sided designer paper, cutting two same sized pieces and layering them as you see.  The grayish/brownish (I can't decide what color it actually is) piece is the first layer; the top designer paper has the large half circle cut out of it.  I like it this way for the added dimension it creates in real life.

I've used Always Time For Friendship sheet and Typewriter/Diamonds Half sheet to complete the stamping on my card.  The "best wishes" I created using a jumbo rotary stamp I picked up.....I like the look of it :)

It is my wish for you.....for 2015, all the best!

I Brake for Snowflakes

Good Morning peeps...Beth here with the last of my Christmas projects.....today I have made a gift box using the gift punch board....I needed a small box for my daughter, so this is what I came up with.

I made my box out of blue card stock after creating the box I stamped the Snowflakes from the Christmas Plate all over it with embossing ink added silver embossing powder and got out my heat gun.....added some blue ribbon.

Next I made a tag using the Stampin-Up ornament punch added a Snowflake to the tag colored the top silver and added that to my box.

Well that will do it for me today still have lots to do  before Thurs....so just let me end this with Wishes to you all of a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

I Brake For Angels

{jane bosi}

Happy Three Days before Christmas!!  THREE DAYS!!!  Are you ready for this?  My list still has several must do items on it.  The first was begin transitioning my stamping from the Holy Family, Santa and Elves.  I thought this clean and simple card would be a move in the right direction!

I love this little angel with her quirky hair!  She's called Heavenly Day Halos and I think she's a great image for just about any kind of card!  She's colored with distress markers and a little bit of Stickles.  I combined her with a sentiment from the Fashionista half sheet.  I guess it's kind of become a theme with me :)

I cut a few different widths from some colorful scraps and stylized a couple of them for some added interest.  The yellow strip bears an image from the Lace Borders half sheet.  I use those lace images so often!  If someone told me I had to reduce my stamp inventory {gasp!}, those would definitely stay!!

Now, I'm off to make some cookies and wrap gifts for the five kiddos....that should take a day!  LOL!!

I Brake For Cute Christmas Cows!

<
Hello and happy Saturday!

I've made some pretty Christmas cards lately so this time I wanted to do something a little "cutesy."
I Brake For Stamps has tons of both elegant and funny Christmas stamps!

I just love Tina Mae for so many reasons.  When I saw this hilarious Christmas verse I just knew I wanted to use them together.  The sentiment is called Udderly Wonderful Christmas.

Here's a close up of Tina Mae.
Isn't she sweet??  Her santa hat was made using a Quickutz die.
The frame for the verse was cut with a Papertrey Ink die.
On the inside I used the verse May the Warmth.

I Brake For Large Owl

Good morning Peeps, Beth here at IBFS with another 3-D project this week.....I love this owl stamp and my oldest granddaughter loves anything owls so I altered this chalkboard as a Christmas present for her.

This project was really pretty easy to do I painted the chalkboard with some caramel colored acrylic paint added a little crackled finish to it....next I used Ranger embossing ink to stamp the Large Owl on Branch image onto the chalkboard sprinkled on some silver embossing powder then heat embossed the image.....colored in the branches with Sakura green gel pen.....all that was left to do was some decorations...the word Hoot is done with letter stickers, added some pine sprigs, ribbon, burlap paper, and some twine the pine cone is a K and Co embellishment.
Next I added some picture frame hardware and some baling twine to hang it.....hope you have enjoyed my little project and hope you are ready for Christmas, I am slowly getting there.

See you next week with something....have a great week.
Hugs

I Brake For Jesus

{jane bosi}

Hellllooooo....Brakers!

Today, I have a fun little watercolored gem to share with you.  I'm still using my favorite Christmas sheet, called Rob Meijer Christmas from Stampinback.  I've also used a great background image called, Names of Jesus.  LOVE, love, love that image!  It's a wonderfully versatile background and can be used year round for just about any kind of card!

I started by creating a water colored background on watercolor paper.  Then, using white pigment ink and my picket fence distress marker, I added a frosted look to the edges and the Names of Jesus background image.  I love the frosted effect you get with the distress marker--you have to be patient, though!  It become much more pronounced when the marker dries.

Be patient and stamp on!  :)

I Brake for Peace and Joy!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing two similar Christmas cards with you.  Sometimes I don't feel like coloring so I love using a sentiment along with something else as the highlight of my card.  I was in the mood to create with paper so I settled on these poinsettias.

The two sentiments I used are from I Brake For Stamps.

I made the poinsettia using a Sizzix red die and some curling ribbon.

I Brake For "Ho" Cubed!

{jane bosi|

I'm not much of a math head, but "ho" to the third is the best use of math, this time of year!!

For my silly card, I combined some extra large letter stickers with this fabulous image off Full Sheet 139.  I mounted everything on a piece of embossed cardstock and then, added a few sequins to finish it off!

Would you ever have thought to use non-holiday images in this way?  Take a gander at your images, what else could you re-purpose and make a holiday card with?

I Brake for Presents !!!

Hello I Brake For Stamps fans !!!

It's Crystal here with a Christmas card using  Cammy with gifts from the online store , she is so cute and sure to brighten anyone's Christmas if you make a card with her.

IMG_3469IMG_3470

I copic colored her , the bow is a die from Lil Inkers Designs  , the Merry Christmas is a die from Intricutz dies  , I used a gold foiled card stock that I put a sheet of Sizzix double-sided adhesive on and then die cut it , the die then pops out with the adhesive in it , perfect for skinny letters like this .The paper is 6x6 American Crafts Merry Mint , 6 x 6 papers are perfect for cards because the print is sized down smaller : )
