She is colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and stamped on white card stock after coloring my image I added some Stickles to the ornaments on the tree, used a Sizzix Framelits to cut the image out to a circle. the DP is left over scraps from some CTMH scrapbook pages...red card stock was embossed with the Allegro embossing folder from Cuttlebug, added a ribbon and a button ...hope you have enjoyed it and look forward to bringing you something else next Tues....have a great week everyone.

I Brake For Fallish......

{Jane Bosi}

If this doesn't say thankful....I'm not sure what does!  I'm still delving into earth tones and fallish themes, like this wonderful wheat image

This card typically referred to as a step card. They can be done in different orientations. I like the center "bump out" for this particular image because it deserves to be the focal point!

I do like my fussy cutting, as well, so I pieced the ribbon to add color and dimension.

Last week my fallish obsession was lacey flowers like this:

I love creating my own backgrounds!  To make the one above, I combined some watercolor paper, distress inks and a gorgeous image from the Lace Borders Sheet.  After stamping the lace multiple times, I stamped over the whole thing with watery background stamp to create a shabby, distressed background.  I love it!!  The beautiful tulip image completes this simple project.  I used my aqua brush to water color the flower and then again stamped over with a linen like background stamp.  The water that remained on the paper attracted more ink in some places than others for a really cool look!

Fall is fun........BUT......

Before you know it--those Christmas cards are going to be needing to get done!  See more Holiday images HERE!

What crafty thing are you doing today??

I Brake For Vintage Sleds!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a beautiful vintage image from I Brake For Stamps.  I love Victorian style anything so when I saw this image I instantly thought of a million possibilities for it.

It's called CHILD ON SLED.

I always think of old buttons when I think vintage and although I may have gone a little overboard with number of them I chose, I like them.

Isn't this child sweet?

I Brake For Harvest Shy Bear

Good Tues. morning peeps, Beth here with another Shy Bears card from IBFS I just love this little fellow he is so stinking cute. Kept my card pretty simple as this is a pretty large stamp so not a lot of room for embellishments.

Okay for the dets...I colored this image with my Spectrum Noir markers  that was stamped with black ink on white card stock.....added a sticker across front saying Pumpkin Patch added a strip of red plaid DP to the side on the brown paper....then attached these cute little flowers perfect fall colors...the hay stack has some twine tied around it and added a red plaid corner in the upper right hand of my card.

Well that is it for me this week see you next week.

I Brake for Witches ..

Hello I Brake for Stamps fans !!

It's Crystal here and today I made a Halloween card using the witch from Humorous Senior Halloween stamp set , I love this set you get 4 images and 2 sentiments , love the one I am using today it says " Women are Angels and when someone breaks our wings we simply continue to fly .. on a broom.. we're flexible like that ..  " . You can find this stamp and lots more in the I Brake For Stamps Online Store ..

Today I say good bye to fussy cutting ..lol , I love the cut out look but if you are doing a bunch I have the answer  , I have a Silhouette and have created a cut file so I can cut out the die shape  , how I did this is I stamp my image on cardstock and scan into my computer and then I open the file in my silhouette design studio and create and offset cut  and then I tighten it closer to my stamped lines  I can cut 6 per page so I set it up and cut 6 at a time

humorous witch 001

next I created a stamp positioner out of old legos , I line a plastic sheet up to the corner of my lego stamp my image onto the plastic

humorous witch 003

next I use a bit of tape to hold the die cut into place and then slide my clear stamped sheet over the cut to line up then you put the L shape positioner back on the corner and remove the plastic sheet and then stamp my image

humorous witch 003

tah -dah , this is so easy and love the results

humorous witch 004

if you leave me a commit and sent me an email requesting the cut file to go with your witch stamp  I will send it to you for free  ( only works in the Silhouette ) , send the request to Crystal@thelopezcrew.net and in subject title IBFS Witch cut file , don't forget to commit and if you like the idea of cut file to go with you IBFS images let me know and ill make more to give away .
