Freak Out Freddie

Interesting name for a stamp, don't you think.  When you see this guy, you'll know why.  Marlena here today sharing with you a project using the I Brake for Stamps digital image, Freak Out Freddie.  Freddie is a frog and a series of digital stamps from the store.  I made a note pad with this one to add to my handmade gift Christmas collection.  I've been trying to create a store of these gifts, with friends and family members in mind, who I may give them too.  This way I'm not scrambling to get items finished just before Christmas.  I have my sister in mind for this one, but I always seem to have her in mind when I make my projects, so I may have to begin to branch out from her a bit.

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!

I Brake for Starry Suzi

Hello Blogland! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Were you able to get the creative mojo flowing? Aletha here to help inspire you into some Christmas mojo.

I have created a 5¾” art card using the I Brake for Stamps (IBFS) digital image, Starry Suzi. This little beauty was created by Rick St.Dennis MFA, for IBFS. You can find Starry Suzi in digital format only. IBFS also has the exclusive rights of Rick’s Randi Dandi images, meaning that you can find a lot of these eclectic images in rubber form too. Della has thought of everything.

Starry Suzi was colored with Copics. I fussy cut her and then popped her up on the original image. Starry Suzi and most of Rick’s Randi Dandi’s do not need a lot of embellishments. The images speak for themselves. I have all the details on my blog at AJ’s Designs.

Thanks for stopping by! We hope that you “like” IBFS’sFacebook page. That way you can keep up with all the happenings.

I Brake For Christmas Goldfinches

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a card that I used a little artistic license on.  My image is called GOLDFINCH.  Now I know that goldfinches aren't blue but it matches my paper.  So...my Christmas goldfinch is blue.  If you love birds you can find many beautiful bird images at I Brake For Stamps.

On the inside I used a beautiful holiday verse called THE BLESSINGS OF PEACE.

I Brake For Backgrounds

{Jane Bosi}  Happy Friday, Everyone!!  Today I am sharing a project full of goodies from IBFS!!  I took ownership of this wonderful texture sheet a while ago and finally found the inspiration to use them all together!  I created a four square background using all four images, distress inks and some fun specialty paper from Ranger.  To complete the card, I added grunge bird and this sentiment--get them while you can!!

I Brake For Rabbits!

Hi There, Kristen here with a crazy card to share with you! I completely adore this March Hare digi by Rick St. Dennis.  I just think it is so much fun.  I am in need to of Birthday cards, so I made this card with that in mind.

I knew when I started coloring this image that I wanted to cut out his crazy eyes, and pop them, to make them 3D. I did so with his nose and bow tie as well. Is he adorable or what? I feel like this paper was perfect for the image, and what could be better than getting the brand new pack of $1.00...Wahooo...Well, I hop you enjoyed the card, and I hope you get some crafting in this weekend. Enjoy.

IPod Hailee

Hi everyone, Marlena here with a new project to share with you, this time using one of the digial images from the store, IPod Hailee.  Of course, as I saw this image I thought of my daughter as she often has a set of headphones on listening to her music, LOUD.  AND, since I thought of my daughter as soon I saw this cutie I decided to make a journal for her for Christmas.  She loves to write and often she likes to write down song lyrics, so a perfect combination, at least I think so.  Hopefully, she will too.

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!

I Brake for a Randi Dandi Christmas

Aletha here with some Christmas inspiration, or I hope that I can inspire you. It seems like that all I have been doing is creating for Halloween, so I thought that I would try, once again, to get in the mood for Christmas crafts.

Today I created my second Christmas card using Rick St. Dennis’s Minty Miranda from his Christmas Randi Dandi collection. The Minty Miranda that I used is in the digital format. You can also get her in rubber as a single, or as a group of four rubber stamps.

I colored Minty Miranda with Copics and added some #9 clear Swarovski crystals to her earrings and necklace. The designer papera that I found were the perfect colors. I have all the details on my blog, AJ’s Designs. I hope you stop by sometime.

Be sure and stop by our IBFS blog every day. There are all kinds of I Brake for Stamps inspiration. If you want to stay up-to-date on all the happenings, hop on over to our I Brake for Stamps page, and give us a like.

I Brake For Christmas!

Hello everyone!
I hope you're having a great weekend!
Today I'm sharing a Christmas card made with an adorable image from I Brake For Stamps.
The stamp is called Snowman and Friends.

I love this sweet image.  Living in upstate NY I've seen my fair share of snowmen!
I love the country feel of this image.  It feels like I'm looking right outside my window.

On the inside I used two different verses from the sheet Every Day Phrases.
I masked and used the "wishing you a" from Wishing you a full recovery and then I paired it with the "Merry Christmas" phrase.

I Brake For Trieste!

Hi there, Kristen here with a Christmas card to share with you today.  I Used Triesta, which is one of  the Rick St. Dennis images, that comes in both rubber and digi.  I completely love Triesta's hair.  It looks like a Christmas tree on her head.  I love that she is "funky".  I always say that the images a super fun to color, and they are. They are perfect images for both novice and advancedcoloring, as the lines guide you.  Well, That is all I have for you today. I hope you find time to craft this week. Happy Creating!

Sweet Little Witch Cammy

Good morning everyone, Marlena here today to share with you a cute Halloween image, Sweet Little Witch Cammy.  It's hard to believe that Halloween is almost here, it seems like school was just beginning and fall was right around the corner.  Now the leaves are falling from the trees, the air is crisp and Halloween is right around the corner.  For my card I also used the Saturated Canary cottage image.  I think this cutie looked great sitting on top of a house.

I hope you all are able to enjoy all that fall has to offer!  At the very least enjoy the rest of this fabulous Tuesday.

I Brake for Halloween

Aletha here with a Halloween project for I Brake for Stamps (IBFS). I love Halloween, and this year I have been able to create several things for this popular holiday.

I would like to introduce you to Magic Wanda. This beauty was designed by Rick St. Dennis MFA for IBFS. She was a lot of fun to color with Copics too. You can find her in digital format, or as a rubber stamp, whichever you prefer.

My designer paper is Echo Park’s the Apothecary Emporium collection. Wanda’s web is from a die-cut that I painted black. Her stars are wood veneer from my stash. For more information about all my supplies, please stop by my blog, AJ’s Designs.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will visit us every day for more IBFS inspiration.

I Brake For Birthday Cupcakes!

{Jane Bosi}  Happy Birthday Wishes!!  I'm such a fan of Rick St. Dennis and couldn't be more thrilled with the recent additions of his work over in the IBFS store!!!  Some of the Christmas digitals have been made into rubber also, which thrills this old school gal!  You can take a gander at them right here.

My project, features an equally excellent image, simply referred to as "Cupcake" and is part of the Randi Dandi boys and girls series. My background was created using the simple Cuttlebug Highlights technique and I finished the card with the birthday sentiment from this sheet! A few touches of Stickles in all the right places and BAM! A birthday card! TTFN, Jane

Little Kitten Cammy

Hi everyone, Marlena here today to bring you a project using another great Cammy image and just in time for Halloween.  My image this time is Little Kitten Cammy and I used this cutie to make a milk carton.  It's my first attempt at a milk carton although I've wanted to try to make one for awhile.  Not a bad first attempt but definite a bit of a learning curve, so keep this in mind as you check my project out today.

Here's a front view so you can get a better look at Cammy.

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday everyone!
Thanks so much for stopping by,

I Brake For Mandi!

Hi all, Kristen here with a card to share with you today.  I used this super duper cute Rick St. Dennis Mandi image to create this card today.  When I see this image, I completely think of the 60's-70's era, and this era makes me think of orange and brown.  The reason being, every time I look at pictures from when I was young, it seems as though everything including the wallpaper was orange and brown, which are 2 of my least favorite colors by the way, but anyways, I hope you like the card.  Happy creating!!!!

I Brake for Stamps at Christmas Time

Aletha here with my very first post as one of the new design team members for I Brake for Stamps (IBFS). I am so thrilled to have this opportunity to create with IBFS stamps, digi and rubber, and to be part of Della’s very talented and creative Design Team.

For my project today I decided to do something for Christmas. I have been so heavy into Halloween, this was a much needed break. The main image is one of favorites, Noel Holiday Bonnet, designed by Rick St. Dennis for IBFS. I have been an admirer of Rick St. Dennis for several years. His designs go from the cute to the bizarre. Rick’s eclectic style lends to reaching each artistic style.

For now, Noel is available in digital image format in the Christmas section. I am sure that in the near future you will find that IBFS will have these available in rubber too. But if you like your rubber stamp, Della has a wide range of Rick’s images available in rubber. You might just want to take a trip to IBFS and check out the entire range of rubber stamps that are offered.

Noel was colored with Copics. I then added some Spica pens and Stickles for some accents. Some Spellbinder’s dies and a little paint added the last touches to my first Christmas card. You can find out more details about my art card on my blog at AJ’s Designs.

Thanks for stopping by for my very first post for IBFS. Stop by every day for more inspiration from the I Brake for Stamps Design Team.

I Brake For Ree Ree

Randi dandi perfect {Jane Bosi} I've long been a fan of Rick St. Dennis.  Well, he's done it again.  Check out these amazing new images available at IBFS!!
For my project, I've used Ree Ree--too much fun to color!  I love her big dangly earrings and had to add some stickles to each for extra shine!
I adore her big eyes and the side ribbon for an extra bit of color.
I've finished my project with a background piece created with some direct to paper ink and a bit of the Cuttlebug Highlights technique.  You can find more info on the technique in the October 2008 issue of the Technique Junkie newsletter.
Last, but not least, I added the perfect sentiment found on this stamp sheet called, Half Sheet 138B.  You'll find lots of reasons to want this sheet!! TTFN, Jane
