Good Morning Brakers!  Is it Sunday already?  Hope you all had a fabulous turkey day!

Here is a birthday card I made for my husbands grandmother.  She is an avid slot machine player.  I thought this cute image from the Humorous Seniors collections called Slot Machine Joan

I colored her with copics and put her onto a Tall Accordian Card.

I Brake For Cardinals

Winter is definitely upon us here in the northeastern U.S. and one of my favorite sights to see is when I spot a beautiful red cardinal in my yard set against the white snowy background. Cardinals are the ultimate Christmas bird being red and I fell in love with this image when I saw it at I Brake For Stamps. The image is called CARDINAL.

I colored him with Copics and added some Stickles to the berries to make them even more festive.

Baby, It's Cold Outside.....

{Jane Bosi}  I'd love it if this cute little girl from Chelsea Le would pop off the page and just start singing!  She looks so cute in her snug little muffler and furry boots!  You'll find her in the Chelsea Le Designs.  I think she is totally adorable!  They all are, I warn you!  Make sure you take a GOOD look!

I've created a colorful background using a technique from the Technique Junkie Newsletter called Triple Mosaic.  My sweet image is colored with copic markers and the muffler and fur are full of puffy bling---I put some Distress Stickles in those areas.  I know, cyber world looses somethings in  translation, but trust me---it's sparkly!!

Good Afternoon Friends...

I have this sweet Chelsea Le image for you today.  This little girl is called Pretty Winter Friends.  I colored her with copics.  I added a background made with distress stain.  I added some stickles to my die cut swirls and used the same distress stain to add some color to my flowers.

This is one of my Christmas Cards.  I just love cards that are done in non-traditional colors like pinks and blues.

I hope you enjoyed todays project and I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

I Brake for Angels

Hi, Braker Fans. I'm back with a new project for I Brake for Stamps. Can you believe next week is Thanksgiving? The time just seems to fly past me. I have so much to do to prepare for the Holidays.

So on that note, I made a cute tag for a Christmas gift. I love making my own tags. It adds that personal touch to my packages. For this one I used a cute digi stamp in the store called "Child Angel." He's so darn cute with that unruly hair.

I used a lot of glitter to really make his gown stand out. There are more pics of this project on my blog so hop over and say, Hi.

I brake for birds and birthdays!

As you may know,  I really love birds.  When I started working at the school a several years ago one of the teachers bought me a suet cage, suet and a beginners bird book.  I thought,  hmmm....what do I do with these?  So I bought a pole, put up the feeder....and fell in love with birds.  I now have multiple feeders, know all of the local birds and love making cards with bird images on them!!

I Brake For Stamps has several wonderful bird stamps and I've used Small Water Can with Bird and just the "birthday" portion of Good Example.

Supplies I used:
Spellbinders label dies
metal dots
Prima flowers
2 leaf punches
metal brad
Copic markers

{Jane Bosi}  I have a cute little image from I Brake For Stamps that I've been waiting to share with you! This sweet little girl is from new designer, Chelsea Le!  Her winter and gifty images are just perfect for launching us into the holiday season! This card is certainly not very Christmasy, but does show the versatility of the image. This one will be a perfect birthday card!

I Brake For Fall Mums

Happy Sunday!

Here is a card I did a while ago using the Large Mum stamp that you can purchase here at the store.  I thought this was a great fall card.  I colored the mum with stickles on acetate.  I cut the background out with my spellbinders.  I love the background technique from the TJ Newsletter.

A quick note to our friends in all of the areas affected by Hurricane Sandy,
know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

I Brake for Cornucopias

Hello, Braker Fans. I trust you all had a fun and safe Halloween. I only had 4 trick or treaters here last night. That is more than I expected since we live in the country. Last year we were out of town during the holiday and it was our first year on the ranch. So I didn't know what to expect this year.

Ok, on to my DT project this week...I made a Thanksgiving card since that is the next holiday coming up and I will be focusing all my efforts on Christmas cards in the coming weeks. But I love this stamp so I had to use it since Autumn is upon us.

I kept the embellies at a minimum so the image would really stand out. I had lots of fun coloring this stamp as I used so many Copics. This is a digi in the store called "Cornucopia."

For all the details on my card, go visit my blog.

That's it for me; see you next Thursday...

Hugz,
