Go Dick Clark!!

{jane bosi} hee hee......I just saw Dick Clark on Rockin' New Year's Eve and thought he deserved a bit of a shout out!! He's made it from my childhood; through my absent years when I actually left the house to celebrate the New Year; to carrying on the tradition for my kids.....LOL!! What a man!
I'm back on board with blogging and sharing this final clown from the Rick St. Dennis clown sheet! This card uses the TJ Newsletter technique called Triple Mosaic (June 2006). Visit my blog for more info and a recap of all of these amazing images!! Be sure, also, to check out the year end savings Della has going on right now!
Happy New Year to One and All! TTFN, Jane

My Last Holiday Card of the Year! :)

Hello!
True :D here.

I know it seems a little late for a holiday card but it is not! New Years is a holiday!  :)
Besides the "Trees Silhouette" stamp from I Brake For Stamps is not meant to be a holiday stamp. I just made it work! You can use it for every day, rustic, camping, masculine cards and more! Then you can use it to get a jump on next years Christmas cards!

I just stamped the trees is black, masked off the moon with a small circle, then sponged in the night sky. Add a few twinkling stars with glitter and stamp a sentiment and Viola!

I hope you and yours have a safe, happy and healthy 2011!

Hugs,
True :D

It's FROSTY outside!

It's FROSTY inside and out today! 19 degrees to start this morning at my house.  Not too bad! I know there is a LOT of snow in parts of the country, so you all stay warm!

I made this for last week's  Splitcoast Ways To Use It Challenge. . . Make It Pop!

I popped up my snowman and also used glittered chipboard letters to make my "frosty" pop.

Image is from Holiday Squares by I Brake For Stamps. I colored it with Copics. Click on the picture below for a close-up of that sparkly frost!

You can read more about this card on my blog. Have a great day!

Michelangelo-Creation of Adam Tag

This is one of the brand new Michelangelo images! I have always loved this image of the hands :)

I used the "Salty Glimmers" technique from the latest TJ Newsletter for the background.

Stamps used are:

1902 Cottage

Hello Everyone, it's Robyn here with a gorgeous image from IBFS called 1902 Cottage. Such a nice all-occasion stamp that works well for projects for either guys or gals. I love the quaint cottage and the lovely yard, it puts me to mind of the thatched cottages I sometimes see here in Ireland. More details of what I used on this card are on my blog.

I've used my Bow-Easy bow maker from I Brake for Stamps to tie the yummy silk ribbon bow. I love how it creates perfect bows every single time!

I'd like to wish each of you a safe and healthy 2011!

Happy Creating,
Robyn

Distressed Thinking of You

I needed to play with some non-Christmassy papers today, and the first package that jumped into my hands was October Afternoon's Thrift Shop papers. These looked like they would be fun to pair up with the Sweet Stop's sketch, so all I needed to do was find a stamp to fit with the papers and the sketch. This sentiment from I Brake for Stamps was perfect.

These papers reminded me of my grandmothers, and I wanted to convey a distressed, old-timey feel without sponging a lot of brown inks over these gorgeous papers. I found the Distressed Papers technique from Technique Junkies and that was the exact technique I needed. Once I made that decision, this card came together in less than ten minutes. Don't you just love it when the mojo hits ya? :-)

Stamps: I Brake for Stamps
Ink: Soft Suede, Antique Linen distress
CS: Soft Suede, Thrift Shop (October Afternoon)
Other: sponge, Bazzill Half the Edge strips, prima flowers, button (PTI), linen thread, Soft Suede ribbon, oval dies (Spellbinders), sandpaper
Technique: Distressed Paper

Pocket Jester Bear

Did you all have a nice Christmas? I hope you enjoyed your time with your family and friends and that Santa brought you everything you wanted. :-)

I colored the adorable little Jester Bear from I Brake for Stamps with Copic markers and I paper pieced his hat and collar. I then decided to do the same thing for the little jester-on-a-stick so it looks just like the big bear.

The little bells are colored with a silver glitter pen and they match the silver brads that I used on the pocket. This card is one of the techniques, called the Attached Pocket Notecard, on the new Fancy Folds & Motion CD from Technique Junkies. Keep checking the I Brake for Stamps store - Della just might have these cd's for sale soon!

If you would like the deets please pop on over to my blog.

Sweet Snowman

Hi everyone! I wanted to share the card I made for this past Wednesday's Splitcoast Sketch Challenge 311.

Christmas Z-fold card

Hello Ladies,
It's Robyn here with a Z-Fold Christmas card using a stamp from the Christmas Plate #4 available through I Brake for Stamps. So many wonderful images on this plate. What I especially love about it is that it captures the real meaning of Christmas and also that there is a good selection of images as well as sentiments. Love the fonts that are used! I've used the sentiments from this plate for most of my Christmas cards this year. But for this card, I just used a rub-on from the patterned paper collection for the inside of my card.

Inside of Z-fold card

Lady of Winter

Have you seen the "Ladies" over in the I Brake for Stamps store? There is a lady for each season, and they are all gorgeous! I bought all four of them and after coloring this Lady of Winter, I can't wait to color the other three.

I used Copic markers to color in the flowers, leaves, pinecones, lady, and the tiny little birdie in her hand. I also used some Creative Inspirations Paint - yellow in the centers of the flowers and a bright red for the berries. Look over in the lower left hand corner at that poinsettia. I used the Paper Tole technique (from Technique Junkies) on that flower for a little dimension.

Clowns

My {Jane Bosi} clown week is officially over with the posting of this final card! I'm not sure what the whole "clowns freak me out" thing is about--I just love them! I've coupled the fourth of the five images (see the full sheet here) with the Pencil Resist technique recently featured in the TJNL. It's a great technique! Great technique + awesome stamp = Happy Designer!
You can see the whole lineup featuring the Clowns by Rick St. Dennis and a technique each day on my blog :) By the way, when you stop by the IBFS website, make sure to check out the Special Offers section--Della's got some AMAZING images/deals for you!

Snowflake Accordion Album in Ornament Tin

Hi everyone, Regan Here! I hope that all of you are having a wondeful week preparing for the holidays. I just wanted to take some time to share a project i created using the Fall/Winter Collage Sheet. It is an ornament tin that houses an accordion album!

I used this window tin to house my accordion album. I punched two holes in the top of the tin using my cropadile, ran some lace through and then I had an ornament! I will warn you it's a little heavy!

Here is a close up of the stamped image through the tins window....

Freddie The Frog Prince Scrabble Tile Charm

Isn't Freddie the Frog just so cute? I got to thinking he would be great on a scrabble tile charm.

I found this one and it worked out perfect! I sized down the digi image and he was colored in with watercolor pencils. His crown needed some sparkle so I added some Stickles glitter glue :)

Joy Christmas Flower

It's Holly posting today. I gave this card to my Mom for Christmas this year. She loves flowers and ribbons and fancy, feminine, detailed cards like this, so I knew this would be perfect for her. :-)

The sentiment, JOY, comes from the Every Day Phrases sheet at I Brake for Stamps. I love this versatile sheet of sentiments - it makes my cardmaking so easy. The rest of this card uses patterned paper from Memory Box and May Arts ribbon and a glittery Prima flower.

Merry Christmas!

Pinecone Collage

I used this gorgeous Pinecone Collage to make an Xmas card :) I love the realism of the pinecone :)

Since I LOVE texture, I added a piece of burlap behind the main image, along with some pearls in each corner of the collage image.

It's A Circus...

{Jane Bosi}

I had to stop with the Christmas images---not that I don't love them---but these clowns have been enticing me for waaaaayyyyy too long! All week, on my blog, I'll be sharing a clown and a technique! Today's technique is called Sepia (TJNL October 2009) and it really makes the image pop! Don't you think? Speaking of images, if you haven't already seen these amazing clowns by Rick St. Dennis, check them out!
